i'm not fond of the whole SD knife thing... but this one really look awesome.

Its uses extends far beyond pure SD. A wharnie is a helluva useful profile, great for any number of things, not least among them opening boxes!

I would definitely buy it. Wishlist would be:

- Stonewashed CTS-XHP blade;
- titanium framelock in lieu of compression lock;
- grey G10 in lieu of black G10.

but I would take it the way the prototype appears. the clip should be improved though, I'd like to see a deep carry clip on an SD looking knife.

Well said! The wharnie is a versatile blade shape (the physics of which has already been described by Janich years back). Considering how wide the blade is with some "clearance" for the fingers and a hollow grind, I could see it giving service for food prep cutting too!
