Yojimbo 2xl.... Please I beg you

Not gonna happen, the main reason being that the designer of the knife, Mike Janich, and his philosophy of teaching/combat is designed around a knife the size of a Yojimbo or Delica (3" give or take) and not something larger.

It would be cool though, especially in DLC...

Well....not so much. It's designed around the type of knives most people carry around with them, but it's not specific to a 3" knife. The concepts apply to any size blade, which is good, seeing as how Mike has designed larger knives, and teaches with a wide variety of blades.

In no way does his "philosophy of teaching/combat" not apply to other sized knives.

I'd be very interested in this as well. Someone should create the same thread on the Spyderco Forum where Michael Janich might see it. I don't know if he looks at blade forums.

Best idea ever.

4.25 in blade, compression lock, full flat grind with stoutly tapered tip.

Widen the end of the handle so that it isn't so pointy.

Let's not muddy the water .... the Yo 2 is a fantastic design so really it can be EXACTLY the same, only bigger!

I agree on not muddying the water, but some designs really need changes if you scale them up or down. Personally, I'd be happy to let Mr. Janich and Mr. Glesser figure that out, though. ;)
