Hello dear friends,

Today i have the honor to present you the first from the new line of knives, a tough field knife with imposing dimensions and aggressive look - a blade to impress both through look and functionality - 'Yona'

The blade is made using D2 toll steel - the choice was made in order to best fit all aspects related to edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance and all together for an affordable price for the customer to get the most for the buck!

The combination of 0.16" stock and the full flat grind with a wide blade profile makes it worthy of it's name 'Yona' (the bear of the Cherokee natives).
For the handle i used natural micarta that features a satin finish for a great look and improved grip in extreme conditions. Fittings are solid brass and blackened precision made steel screws.

Overall the knife is very impressive in look and gives you that feel of 'dependence' and 'you can rely on' feeling that will not only make you proud in the crowd but will also serve it's best when you need it.

OAL 9.5", blade 4.7" long and 1.35" at the widest point.

The price is only 175 usd (shipping included).

The blade is made using D2 toll steel - the choice was made in order to best fit all aspects related to edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance and all together for an affordable price for the customer to get the most for the buck!

The combination of 0.16" stock and the full flat grind with a slim and aggressive profile makes it worthy of it's name 'Kanati' ('Hunter' of the Cherokee natives).
For the handle i used some local 'ironwood' - honey locust heartwood, an essence of wood that not only looks great, with rish colors and deep see through effects but is also fantastic strong and resistant to mold, rot and water. Fittings are solid brass and blackened precision made steel screws.

Overall the knife is very aggressive in look has a fantastic grip, a slim geometry and cuts like crazy; preparing game, cooking, using it as a B&T or EDC will be a pleasure.

Great looking knives at a great price. Do you have a maker's mark? I do not see any. It would be a nice touch, and the owner can tell others who the maker of the blade is.

Hello my dear friend,

Thank you very much for the nice words - a maker's mark will be applied on the shipped blades (i don't do it usually because even if i am doing knives as a full time knifemaker for more than 12 years i still do not consider myself worth of a 'mark' even though i do have and use it on request) ;)

Announcement: for the ones that do have a knife from me (bought directly or not) you can have the 'Kanati' with a 20% discount and for all others with a 10% discount!

I understand. But I must disagree with you Sir. Your work deserves your mark as much as any knife maker producing knives of very high quality. I have admired your past work, and I will be purchasing one of your blades soon.
