Yosemite here I come

Yosemite is awesome. To me there are two yosemites. The lower valley level has the river, the falls, the rock formations, the hotel, the redwoods and the most people. The upper toualome(sp) meadows is untouched and is my favorite of both places. Plan on camping at both because they are both different but equally awesome.

I've climbed there a bunch, but have only done a handfull of hikes. April-May and September-October are my favorite times to visit. If you're spending time in the Valley you should definitely make time for the Half Dome hike. Sunsets are spectacular. The tips of the cliffs look like glowing embers in a firepit as they get the last of the light. The high country region of Tuolumne Meadows is a lot cooler if you have a summer visit planned. Hiking around the domes up there is amazing. Have fun and post lots of pics please.

Anyone been here?
I was going to the Grand Canyon but things change!
It will be my first time there.
I've been to the Grand Canyon, myself. Its a great place to see, and even more so if you backpack inside and really experience the landscape. The bluffs and cliffs are much more impressive looking up at them.

Yosemite, on the other hand, is probably the only National Park I have not visited that I would really like to see. Good luck and I hope you really enjoy the trip!

when I was 6 but I dont remember much from the trip.....
Have fun!!! (I DEMAND YOU TAKE PICS AND LOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
