This is why I don't like to haul something like a Battle Mistress with me. I like to cover some ground and something big gets in the way. The pack is about 30 lbs just with the camers so a small knife like an AD is nearly perfect for me.

If you ever go to Yosemite this is a hike you should do along with the one to the top of Half Dome. I'm heading back on Dec 6th. Of course that will be when the DC Black paper Game Wardens will come out. :grumpy:

Those pictures are really awesome:) ! I was in Yosemite this last July and I can't praise this place enough:thumbup: :thumbup: ! I think that Yosemite is a place that all nature lovers should pay a visit to. Thank you for sharing these pictures. I am sure you've had a great time there;).

I'm putting in a kitchen at a mortician's home (cool) with a driveway at the same grade as most of the trails you were on. In the rain, uphill both ways:D , no shoes:rolleyes: , bad knees:grumpy: , whine and moan and moan and whine. And here you are posting picks of this BEAUTIFUL scenery.

Tony, GREAT PICS! The view from the top of the water falls is AWESOME!
I wish I could get up there when I visited Yosemite. It was in winter and the park was covered in white, also pretty cool, but we can only stay in the valley. Here are some pics I took last time, and I definately will go back.

Nice pics. I did that hike(which is called yosemite falls for those who don't already know) along with el capitan, and half dome in three days, with a SHBM.:eek: I love hiking the Serria mountain range.

I'll be back there December 6th and it may look more like that.

Oh I fort got. It was about 70 degrees out each day!
