Yosemite Photos

Nice pics. I did that hike(which is called yosemite falls for those who don't already know) along with el capitan, and half dome in three days, with a SHBM. I love hiking the Serria mountain range.

Those are some of the BEST ones. If you have done those then next time do what is called the North Rim Traverse (up the falls and then the rim of the valley east bound and back down near Mirror Lake. Not as hard as Half Dome but almost... and it is about three miles longer. Great views of the south side of the Valley that most people never get far enough away from to actually see.

Also up the four mile trail to Glacier Pt and then down the other side toward half dome. There is a fall in there that very few people ever see,

Then unless I'm forgetting something you have pretty much done the Valley of Yosemite Park and then you need a backpack to see the rest.

What camera was used for these shots?

My camera is a truely crummy old Sony that is just 3 mega pixals. I need a new one. Like one of the new Leica M body digitals:eek: but then I'd need a second job. I usually use film and scan the negatives or slides.

I don't know what Lee was using.

Look at all this EYE CANDY, all of these pix on this thead ROCK!  I have GOT to get back OUT THERE!!!!
Thanks for sharing them, they're simply beautiful shots of stunning scenery.
I loved my trip into Yosemite a lifetime ago... Wuz just a young teen then.
Thx again,

Tony, I've done those trails also as well as some off trail hiking. Hidden falls we stumbled onto on accident. It was great. We stayed there a couple of days until others came through. I have also spent a large amount of time in the immigrant wilderness. That place has some truely ureal high lakes as I'm sure you know. The freedom of being outside the park was great. We were then able to shoot firearms readily. We took pot shots at a marmont from about 125 yards away with a 9mm. We actually made dinner that night that way. It tasted quite good, especially since I was the lucky one who actually hit it.:D Pure luck. We fired at least 20 rounds at this thing. When it went down it dropped like a rock. Hit it in the head. The trout fishing at some of the higher elevated lakes are unreal. (Not just the stocked ones either) We caught trout with strips cut from a discarded beer can we found along the way on one of our survival trips. Filled ourselves with wild onions, tyme, and all kinds of edible "weeds" like burdock, sourdock, ect. Anyway, enjoy it. I'm in Florida again, and can't wait to get back out west again. But before I leave this state, I will take a hog with a knife. I have the urge to plunge a blade deep into the heart of a wild beast.:D Strayed off topic a little.
Stay safe out there, Jeff

Those are awsome pics mate. I wish I was out in the mountains now and not stuck at work.. Its a very nice day too, which makes it all the worse.
