Yosemite Trip - Lesson Learned

Thanks for the photos,brings back memories of the many trips there in the late 50s and early 60s with my Father.
 
Awesome photos, great scenery! looks like a great place to wander, I need to go there before the end.
 
Like Yellowstone (haven't been there), Yosemite is one of those "must do" places to visit. I probably won't go back for a while because the people scene is not my gig, but certainly very glad that I went, and it's definitely worth a second visit down the road.

Thanks for all the advice. Did some research and just got back from REI with a new pair of boots and several pairs of merino wool socks of various thickness. Old boots are Vasque Breeze, new boots are Lowa Renegade. Giving up some lightness and breathability for a wider toe box (could have been my main problem), more support, more stability, and a better fit.
