Yosemite Trip Pics (VERY Pic Heavy)

Looks like a great time! I was there myself in '04 and really need to get back for another visit. I live for the outdoors and always enjoy seeing all the adventures posted on this site. Also like how you carry your 14. Never though about posting up a cross-draw carry with my 14 before. Hmmm

I can't imagine carrying it any other way now, especially a small blade like the 14. I like it too cause if I'm sitting down to eat or whatever I can slide it to the side of my hip to stay out of the way (of my beer belly) but when walking around/in a situation where I'm using it a lot it slides right back to my front where it's ready to be cross-drawn. (P.S. One of the many excellent kydex benders would be a great way to facilitate setting up an awesome cross-draw system).

Nice! I regret not making it to Yosemite while I was in Cali...

Looks like some good grub, and the kiddo seemed to have fun, and thats all that counts.

Thanks for sharin the pics man, enjoyed it.

Some stunning scenery man, looks like an awesome trip. Thanks for sharing! I love the pics of your girl exploring, I always love watching my girls discover new things. It's funny how much they miss that carrier for a little while later on, but that passes. The food looks awesome, and so now I'm hungry again. Eli makes some great sheaths.

Hah! I wouldn't exactly say she'll 'miss' it. As long as I kept moving she mostly stayed calm but overall she is a hyperactive kid and doesn't even like getting strapped into her car seat or stroller, I think she gets it from me as I was notoriously manic as a child. She kept saying 'Daddy, walk? I WALK!" even while we were climbing steep hills haha. I do hope she'll be somewhat grateful when she looks back and sees the pics.
