if you happen to have a 5th on the 4th or anything less to drink don't drive :D have a good one:)
 
I'll be launching fireworks and maybe have a beer or two. I love lighting bottle rockets while holding them and then when the fuse is almost gone I throw them. Its friggin sweet. :D I know I'm not alone in this en devour. So what are yalls plans for the 4th?

I'll be working...sending ambulances for firework related injuries, such as the ones you are likely to inflict upon yourself or any bystanders with your bottle rocket antics.;) Be careful Jacob! I know that you are not alone in that department though. I wish everyone a safe and happy 4th O' July! -Matt-
 
I'll be handing in my keys at the door before the party starts. The only safe way I know how to party! :)

I already hear fireworks tonight, and it's only 10PM on July 3rd. How odd.
 
I went and launched a few earlier today and i had one go off in my hand cause I waited a bit too long but it didn't hurt. It was actually a bit cool. So no burns as of yet. I did enjoy setting a couple of the bottle rockets on the boat ramp and letting them skip across the water. So did the others watching. :D Even if I do burn myself, I know first aid plus I don't let pain get to me. Not even hot scale that lands on my hand gets to me. Sad isn't it? :eek:

Well I *live* in the Dallas area. Frisco and Lewisville to be exact. I am living in Lewisville for the next month, my parents are in Frisco and sometimes I stay with them.

But I am *from* Detroit, Michigan. To be picky :D

EDIT: Not really a burn, but I dislocated my left thumb at work today. OWWWWW! I was working a car lift and strained too hard to move the lift plate part, guess my thumb joint just gave out and it sunk into my hand. I did a funny little dance and everyone laughed at me! :)

Well, I tried to be safe but I got smacked in teh head with a bottle rocket tryin to light 400 (literally) bottle rockets at once. The vid will be posted on youtube shotrly. you can so see the rocket launch straight into my head. My wife lighted a pack of firecrackers from the wrong end and got a burn on her finger. Thankful she did not lose anything. BUT!!!! The two strings of 4000 firecrackers side by side was truly amazing. took minutes to get from one end to the other! We had the string laid out in the front yard and it was slingin firecrackers into the tree!
 
I had a lot fun while doing fireworks. The night did end badly tho. I got assaulted by a couple of drunks. Ended up with a bruise by my left shoulder and a couple of knots on my head. They punched like sissies. :D And i never laid a hand on them or anything. I must have said something to piss them off. I just got in my car right away and called the cops so I could file charges against them. Last time I wait for almost everyone to leave before leaving. I'd rather walk away than to sink to their level.
 
Ah, so many gruesome stories! My night was problem free thankfully.

I ended up being the designated driver, which was totally not planned as I had every intention of having a good time and just sleeping over. Dunno' what hapened, but I still had a great time. Bottle rockets, sparklers, smoke bombs, and black cat's.
