This past Fathers Day, my daughters and I took a nice hike above the ski lodge at Mt. Charleston to see the Bristlecone Pines that grow up there.
At my property in the mountains of So. Utah
I camp up there almost every weekend, it's only a 2.5 hr drive from Vegas. I'm trying to get a building permit for a small home and shop (Fricken Bureaucracy's) I've got water from the ranch well to the home-site and am putting fence in now.
If you look like a mental patient in the woods carrying big knives, people tend to leave you alone to beat the snot out of your blades in total peace and quiet

First off, great thread. Love seeing all your little 'uns having fun in the great outdoors...
I'm pretty lucky with mine; with her being such a girly-girl and all, I wasn't sure how she'd take to the outdoors. Fortunately, she loves fishing (probably because she manages to out fish me regularly), camping, and hiking. Rarely complains when she's tired, and isn't afraid to get dirty.
