You are only allowed one Spydie: Which one would you get?

Oh, at wilderness situation and I have to pick a spydie? the Perrin!

Hmm posts by others are making me start to think about the chinnok. wish i had one to play with to decide.

I have to cast my vote for the Wegner in PE. It is the most comfy and rugged of the Spydercos for me. Plus I like the tip-up carry as I am used to it with the Endura/Delica. Indeed I am surprised that only one person mentioned it.

The Military, Lum Chinese and Chinook all seem to have a fair following here... Is the Chinook still being produced or has it been discontinued like the Wegner?

Military, Spyderedge!
The larger blade can handle almost any chore. The serrated edge stays sharper longer and cuts more like a saw, and that goes well with the fact that I use a larger knife to cut lots of branches.:)

Original plastic clip Endura. My first Spydie was one of these with full serrations. I have two others...with full serrations. I even bought a bunch lately with red handles...and FULL SERRATIONS! (Sold all but one I'm keeping.)

If I could choose only one, it would be this knife...with combo edge, 'cause I'm sick of full serrations!:)

What a trollingly evilsome :) question: ONLY ONE SPYDIE! Are you MAD?? :D

S T A R M A T E !!!

Why this was discontinued I do not know. I have many Spydies and folders from other makers but this one gets the most carry time. What more could one want from a folder? A beefy 440v blade with a thick, STEEL liner lock (none of that thin, soft titanium crap to wear out like certain other "hard use" folders) packaged in a thin, lightweight package. Perfection. I'm actually considering retiring the SM if I can find a real Terzuola Microstar though. Too bad it has no hole.

The Navigator plain edge in VG-10 has my vote.

I know it is smaller then alot of spydercos others are voting for but the navigator is the size of knife I have always had for EDC.
