You live in a post-apocalyptic world, complete with the walking dead.

You have a choice to carry any variety of combat weapons on your person, anything that exists you have access to. Of course, weight is a concern, so you just can't take 50 different guns. What weapons/tools would you carry at all times? Keep in mind, complete durability and reliability should be considered, since you don't know what you will come up against.

I would pick a kick-ass fixed blade. One that would never fail, and could be called upon to chop and slash through anything if necessary. I would take a Busse Battle Mistress as my number one blade. I would also take the baddest folder; so make it a Strider AR. It would probably be wise to carry a multi-tool along. A Leatherman ST200.

I would have 2 Glock Model 17s on each side for maximum short range firepower, each with a pre-ban 19 rd mag. I would take a slinged, high-grade AK-47 carbine along as well.

My final piece of equipment would be a crow bar. This is the ultimate survival tool. It can dig, hammer, club, stab, crush, pry, hook, tear, chisel, and de-nail anything you want. And it is basically indestructible. I would probably have a special rig made for this instrument.

I'd bring a simple watermelon knife from Jerry Hossom. You know, just in case I get sick of watermelons...

Zero

1. AK-47 Desantniki folding stock version.
2. Dual .45 (probably from Paraordinance because of the pre-ban capacity)
3. My leatherman juice
4. At least 2 foot japanese sword.
5. Lots of ammo
6. Some form of tactical shotgun.

very similar to calyth

assault rifle, larger calibre, so AK would work.
shotgun, pump action
a .44 magnum
compact 9 mm
samurai sword
machete

im guessing i would use the shotgun the most. good for blowing chunks of zombie everywhere heh. sword/machete if they get too close

interesting post :)

I'd get one of those neat Chainsaw hands a'la Evil Dead, and of course the mighty "Boom Stick":p:).

Barring those an AK because you want something that will function in the mud, grime, etc... I would also want a S&W model #66. again ease of operation, and stainless(in case you get covered in zombie guts).

I would also take a Kukri, and some sort of SAK.

Fun topic:D:).

Quite frankly if that's a real situation I'd find myself using the shotgun much more often then the AK becuase zombies are supposedly slow, so blowing them off by the bunch with a shotgun would be fine.
I'd probably outfit the AK with armor piercing rounds so that it can go through a zombie.

Large machete-type blade, a BK+T Brute
Smaller fixed blade, Fallkniven F1 with kydex sheath
12 gauge semi-auto combat shotgun with shell belt
Beretta M93R with spare mag for up close and personal
Two Beretta 92's with as many spare mags as i could carry
Spyderco Civilian
I wouldn't want an auto, too easy to waste ammo. The machete and Civilian are necessary cos you'd run out of ammo eventually. The M93R is sure to make a mess of anything when loaded with the nasty stuff (hollow points?) and switched to three-round burst. The 92's and shotgun can be used for close quarters encounters, the blades for even closer encounters and survival (is it hygienic to eat zombies? ;) )

Revolver, 357MAG or 45acp caliber. Preferably an older S&W N frame.
Shovel.
David Brodziak Bowie and Terry Primos Dress Tactical.
Kit Carson #4 large folder.
Winchester '94 in 30-30.

Well lets see;
1. My Rem 870, combat dressed 9 shot.
2. I would have to get back my old Calico 9mm pistol with the CIA shoulder harness, 2 50rd mags and 2 100 mags
3. My HI Falcata, a great zombie slasher or crusher.
4. My Strider GB for close up and the Springfield Armory 45acp in the other hand.
Yahoooo zombie guts galore. No worry of political correctness, until the zombies form a support group and then get lobbiests. Then we will not be able to destroy them either.

In all the times I played "Resident Evil" I only used the knife once. It's not much good against zombies, especially when they bunch up. If you have to fight a huge, mutated human with 3 foot spikes growing out of an arm the size of a tree trunk , you're better off with the rocket launcher.

Zombies are tough. I'm loading for Bear and heading for an island fortress of solitude (hey, I've got things to do besides kill zombies).

Winchester '97 pump shotgun, 12 g (vehicle)
Garand (vehicle)
Wakizashi & Dai Katana (vehicle)
Crossbow (vehicle)
M40 'blooper' 40 mm grenade launcher (vehicle)
Browning .50 belt fed machine gun (vehicle mounted)
Barett .50 Sniper rifle (DVC suppressed-vehicle)
Granfors Bruks Felling Axe (vehicle)
Granfors Bruks Swedish Forest Axe (vehicle)
Cold Steel E Tool (vehicle)

Heckler&Koch UMP .45 submachine gun (suppressed-on person)
Heckler&Koch USP Tactical .45 pistol (suppressed-on person)
Granfors Bruks Swedish Hunters Axe (on person)
SAK & Tommi Puuko (on person)

Can't believe nobody said flamethrower. You might need to eat them after you kill them, and raw zombie meat - eeewwww!:D

I would have to grab a Cold Steel Ghurka, and then
a couple of nice 10MM glocks for added punch, backed up
by lots of grenades, lots.

awww i take it someone saw resident evil lol. well i would want a fighter jet so i could just fly away :)

4.) 1 Spyderco "Temperance"

A.E.T.

Well, I reckon I'd want one of those pulse rifles from the "Aliens" film, a lightsaber, and my small Seb.

If the bastids can fend me off, they deserve to eat me I suppose.

Professor.
