You are surrounded by flesh eating ZOMBIES...

Excellent choices, everyone. I like the idea of a shovel and a file. :)

And to address a couple of posts, NO, it is not safe to eat zombie flesh. It is rotten meat, don't forget. And they may be carrying some germ which turned them into a zombie in the first place.

Plus, by eating them you are stooping to their level.

I would like a few whirling 40 foot blades attached to a nice fully fueled and armed attack helicopter. What the blades don't finish the miniguns will. :)

(next up: what kind of filet knife would you use on Moby Dick)

I would carry a combat shotgun with a range of buckshot and slugs. Slugs at longer distances while buckshot will pretty much destroy a rotting creature from medium range. Close range duty would go to a glock, preferably 10mm. I would choose the Glock due to its udder reliability and abundance of parts. I would choose a good fixed blade like a busse to carry in a sheath.

A Styer AUG with a underbarrel 12 gage shotgun.

I would want an Apache Gunship (Combat Helicopter) wrapped-around me, and a pair of Glock 10mm pistols on my belt. I'd have my Siegle Bowie (11 inch blade) in a shoulder sheath, and my REKAT Sifu in my pocket.

Bring-on the DAMN Zombies...I'm WAITING!.:D.:D.

In the post apocalyptic world, I'd rather be the zombie king and direct my minions to attack everyone and bring back to me the choicest parts.

those of u who know me know I'm not kidding.

Then I'd get all your stuff for myself.

As the President of the NRA he is bound to have a gun on him and as the Omega Man he has delt with situations like this.

Pump-action shotgun, with 000 buckshot
Sniper rifle
Glock (which one is the .45?)
Lots of ammo for all guns
Lightsaber (we've got zombies, why not lightsabers?:D)
Ghurka kukri
Lotsa little knives, like I carry now :)

Actually, unless the zombies have projectile weapons, I'd probably be using the lightsaber the most. Don't have to clean zombie guts off it. :D

OT: Have you guys seen the new trailer for Attack of the Clones? That movie is gonna kick some major ass! I am definitely going to have to camp out in line for this one! :D:D:D

It all depends on what type of zombies we're talking about. If it's the Night of the Living Dead one-shot-to-the-head type of zombie, I'd go with a Ruger 10/22, a couple thousand rounds of ammo in 30 round mags, a glock 19, a quarterstaff, my CS mini ghurka light khuk, and a tomahawk plus regular camping/survival gear...

You have to remember that in those movies, the zombies had really taken over. There was no hope of resupply, and literally endless zombies seeking to feed on the living. You would want to choose a weapon that allowed you to carry the most ammo possible, which is why I choose the 10/22 and the hottest .22 ammo I can find. My range would be limited, but I would be running for high ground, not looking for zombie trouble. Also, the stopping power of higher calibers is wasted on something that can't feel pain and would not stop even if you blew half its torso off. It's only the destruction of the brain that killed the zombies in the movie, so you only need to get through the head to do the job. Alternately, I'd take some sort of .223 and as much ammo as I could carry with my other gear (probably a couple of hundred rounds)...

I would also be taking the keys to a well stocked 30' Fisher Pilothouse Northeaster Ketch, and not bothering to fight millions of zombies...
