I just wanted to post a note for you guys to make sure and check out the new issue of Blade, as a bunch of the yahoos from here have an article in it about the blades they made for soldiers.

I'm damn proud of you guys!

It's a great thing that you got press... but even better what you all did to get a story written in the first place! You guys did real well.

Thanks fellas!!! And good on 'ya!!! :D

I seen that also, good job by all. J. Neilsons in there a lot, I think he knows someone that works for the mag. :D :D :D Just kidding J. its always nice to see your knives in the mag. very much deserved.

Thanks Bill, the nice folks at blade Mag. just surprise me every once in awhile (I just got my issue today).

You guys did great with those soldier knives. I always love seeing folks I know in the mags but, this was something special. My hat's off to you all who participated.

My hats off to everyone as well. I hope vets who read the story will get a warm heart. That was my goal in getting the mag involved and I will let my dad read the article and watch his face. That will say alot to me :)

Thanks to everyone involved also special thanks to Brian for all your hard work getting Blade involved and especially to Roger who started the whole project. I feel very proud to have been a part of this.

Congrats guys,

I'm sure having the appreciation that you have helped a noble cause, is priceless.

there are also alot of guys helped anonomously and they need a big round of applause also :)

Im damm proud of you boys, every one of ya! Good contribution to the nation and knifemakers too!

Wow this shocked me when i saw the article i couldn't believe it. I don't think any of us did this for the publicity. I know my reasons where that when i was over for Desert storm in 91 i couldn't get a decent knife and i was hopeing that this would help someone out. The article just blew me away.

I told my dad...who is a Vietnam Vet about making a knife for overseas and his eyes started watering up......thats why I wanted to get a story in. BladeMag just needed indaviduals names to go with the story so some guys said okay to use names and some wanted to remain annonymous. Still...big thumbs up to EVERYONE:thumbup:

Congrats Dan, man I wish my issue would hurry up and get here! One thing about living out in the boondocks, takes a while for everything to get here.

I called today and they said 10 to 14 days:eek:

Alex c it's the Jan issue it won't hit the stands for a while I expect.
that's why I subscribed to it..to get a jump on the stuff in there.:)

Just got my issue intoday, great write up and article, the letters from the troops was a real nice touch, they are the ones who for little pay and very little apreciation put there lives on the line for us.

Thanks Brian, Roger and everyone who helped
