You Can't Not Have A BK1 Brute

I just got a new used Brute and I love the feel of it. I was always a big fan of Camillus.

I know! I know! The bad thing about knives is that I can always find a reason to buy another one and then another one. I'm addicted. The next one I'm going to take a look at is the BK-6 Patrol Machete.

I don't care...the Brute is just so damn...desirable. Plus, if it isn't so great, why is it number one?

historically, the Campanion and Machax and Warrior were first, as made by Ethan and crew;

oh, hey, some Magnum Camp action too. nice.

then while in Blackjack Territory, someone got it into their head to make the RBK - awesome...

and DivTuls. which are pretty cool, and came in a few version, at least on paper

and somewhere in there the Brute happened.

we'll note that none of these had numbers then. just names. a few versions. good stuff mostly, eh?

then Camillus got to making them, and SOMEONE decided to start numbering the things.

and in the numbering, put the Machax near dead last, until the patrol machete came along... bit insulting i think for my first ever Becker
