You carry a file?

Yeah right now I have a Nicholson med/coarse that I use at home and it's pretty killer. Aggressive on one side and leaves a fine enough edge with the other to get things done. However it's a bigun and weighs near what my 12" tram weighs.:eek: I think I may go with a leatherman/DMT combo. I want to get into fishing so the leatherman will kill a couple of birds with one stone. Pliers for fishing and a file for my machete.
 
I recently purchased this DMT set which is light and practical. I have a file but cringe at its use.

I get a little crazy with my machete's. I take it down to 1-2k on and usually finish with a strop...........

I like them to shave hair

I tried this kit a few days ago. Its a little course (220) for my liking but it would get the job done in the field. Light weight and I think it was $20 !
