You carry more than one, what are their specific purposes?

In the office: Large Sebenza for cutting bagels, making sandwiches, opening boxes, mail, etc; and either a Victorinox Soldier for trimming cuticles, opening bottles, and the screwdrivers, or my Mooremaker jigged bone trapper if I want a Looker.
When I'm on travel, I substitute a Calypso Jr plain edge with Micarta handles for the Sebenza; I absolutely love the Calypso.
At home, puttering around, the Sebenza stays put and the front pocket gets the larger Victorinox Ranger with a blue Photon light attached; this combo makes me feel like I can tackle just about any chore.

I carry an odd assortment of slipjoint folders, all are multibladed. I am a whittler and the different size and shaped blades are useful in that capacity.

Dang, I seem to be the opposite of some people here. I usually carry a Sebenza or a BM 710 (wait..., probably a M2 AFCK too) and a Calypso Jr. I always sharpen the Calypso scalpel sharp for delicate tasks and all, for any other--usually demanding (and dirty)--task, there's the Sebenza.

I carry a REKAT Pioneer II for everything. When I'm hunting, I'll carry that and a sheath knife. At those times, the sheath knife does all the work and the REKAT is there as a backup.

One of my daily carries plus one el cheapo POS that I hand to somebody who asks me for one that I don't know very well. This is a habit I started after a co-worker tested my new sebenza's penetration on a wooden desk.

My REKAT Sifu is my defensive/offensive folder.

My REKAT Carnivour Cub is my "cutting stuff with" knife.

My Leatherman Micra is my "just because it fits well in my key wallet" tool.

I usually carry a BM Mini-TSEK, a Leatherman Micra and a small Wenger watchmakers knife with me to the office.
The Wenger often stays in my bag during the day. The BM is but in the bag and the Wenger comes out when going home on the train, not to scare the sheeple!:-)
I use the BM for almost everything around the office, inlcuding opeing letters, making sandwiches, cutting open a box and so on.
The LM Micra is used mostly for the scissors and the nifty little nail file!:-)

At home, I normally carry the BM Mini-TSEK or a BM 720 and the Micra.

Cheers

As far as blades go I carry four on me on a regular basis not counting anything in the first aid/survival kit I usually have in the car or my bag.

I carry a one handed folder, (a Kershaw Tanto combo blade at the moment but I'm buying a Large Sebenza on Saturday,) for most cutting chores. Whether I have a pocket or a belt loop I can always clip this on to my clothing in some way. (Not sure what I'd do if I ever became a nudist...actually I guess I could...no never mind).

If I have a belt loop then my Leatherman Wave is definately with me. Only on rare occasions can I be found without this.

Usually when at work I also carry a small Bear MGC pocket knife. This is my "lending knife". If some co-worker or customer needs a knife for a minute this is what I usually hand them as I can afford to have them "forget to give it back to me".

Finally in my wallet there is a small knife on my Victorinox Swiss Card which is pretty much just last ditch redudancy for some of my Wave tools.

I like to carry one knife for delicate chores and food prep, the full size Calypso is an excellent example. I used it this morning to make a large bowl of fruit salad, sliced through the fruit with zero effort.
I almost always carry a mulitool (Wave, Pulse or Swisstool) mostly for the pliers and tools, but also for for a "rough use" knife.
If I'm at home I carry a fixed blade for utility and food prep, usually a Rinaldi TTKK inside and a Livesay Air Assault outside.
At work a Military handles the cutting chores, a Wave the utility and a Livesay Woo with micarta scales as a neck knife for back up.
Stay sharp,
Chad

For office wear I always carry a tiny Wegner Tool Chest in my left front pocket: scissors, awl, nailfile, bottle opener, eyeglass screwdriver, and tiny blade have all been used. One handy little multi-tool! A Spyderco Navigator for any serious cutting without scaring the "sheeple" is carried in my right front pocket. I love the Navigator's grip shape, it fits my hands perfectly. After work and weekends I carry either Spyderco Military or Chinook with my SAK. Defense capabilities during work hours are a low priority since I work in a low-stress office environment ][D.

At the moment my EDC at work is a small Sebenza, an original Leatherman and a BM940. Sometimes I carry one of the small fixed blades I have from Running Dog.

When not at work I still carry the Sebenza, a small keychain multitool by Seber and another knife or two depending on the situation.

The Sebenza stays....all other things are negotiable, the 940 can be replaced by any number of other knives, but seems to compliment the Sebenza well.

I try to carry at least two or three, and use the smallest blade I can for any given task. Gotta keep the sheeple calm.

In the office I carry in my pockets a Victorinox Executive (given to me by the company) or Rambler, along with a SOG CrossCut and SOG CrossGrip. My briefcase holds my Leatherman PST, AA and AAA Mag-Lites, and various other goodies.

I always carry a Princeton Tec Blast pocket flashlight attached to two or three Photon II MicroLights, a lighter, lip balm, space pen, and lightweight plain-edge Sypderco Dragonfly.

Someone in these forums gave me some advice I've followed:

-- Don't drag out your survival machette to open your office mail.

-- Use the smallest blade possible for any task.

-- Never show off your knives. There will always be sheeple who won't appreciate your blades, who will complain to the higher-ups, will threaten to sue, and will get your butt reprimanded or fired.

Another thread about work carry got me thinking about all of the "What have we got in our pocketses" threads I've seen with the amazing pocket collections some members here carry. But I rarely see people post what they use the individual blades for.

So sound off! What is the purpose of the blades in your pocketses? I can imagine just wanting to carry your nice knives around, I do that especially when I get a new knife. And I keep a little SAK at work for menial stuff that I don't want to whip the big blade out to handle. I also carry a little slip-joint with me when I know I'll be whittlin', as well as the bigger blade.

What about you?

I normally carry 3-4.

I carry a Leatherman Micra. It is just a good little multitool.

I also carry a Schrade Old Timer Middleman Stockman. This is my normal everyday using knife. A knife of 1000 tasks.

And I recently started to carry a Schrade Junior Stockman. This is very small and when I need to lighten my knife load I will carry this one.

And I almost always carry a SwissBuck TaskMate II in a belt pouch. Except in a suit. This is a great little knife. Now out of production.

And in jeans, I almost always have a Barlow on me. Just a traditionalist I guess.
