Please read the post at Bladrigger's forum I started when I asked a question regarding a belt....(IF he hasn't seleted it yet) www.bladewiz.com
(BTY...Nakkano has emailed me on a few things, and while we never came to terms on a deal he seemed like a top-notch guy!)

Well, before we all decide to nail Ol' Don to the cross, I would like to hear his side of the story... It seems to me as if there is some history between the two of you.

From all of Don's post's that I have read, (mainly in the tactics and training forum), this not like him... He always gave me the impression as being a very helpful type feller... Who knows???

Get in here Don, and LET'S GET IT ON!!!

No need for anyone to "get it on" I just was not impressed by the lack of hospitality when I asked a question regarding a belt......I am SO sick of the issue at this point I hope he did delete all my posts there like he said he was going to..There are a lot of great forums here to enjoy....

This thread seems to be an answer to the thread http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum31/HTML/000147.html in which Don Rearic, the moderator of the Bladerigger forum, states that James Piorek has directed him to delete any future posts from Bladewiz- on that forum. Some messages he posted recently have been deleted, but other posts from Bladewiz- over the last year or so remain on that forum and anyone who's interested can use the search function to read them and decide for yourselves whether you think that's a reasonable response to the posts Bladewiz- has been making on that forum.

As of now Bladewiz- has not been banned from the other forums at this website and he can still post his opinions of James' and Don's actions here on TGBU. Whether they choose to reply is up to them....

It might be that Don and the other denizens of that forum are tired of "getting it on" with Bladewiz- by now but the previous exchanges are still there to be read by anybody who's interested.

Please note we have a new member using the name Bladewizard -- he is not Bladewiz-. Don't blame him....

P.S. We have a technical problem in that there are a lot of different forums on this website, and the UBB software doesn't provide for banning an individual from one forum without banning him from all of them. If an individual is told not to post on one forum any more and he complies with that we can avoid banning him from the whole website, but at times individuals have chosen not to comply and have ended up giving the administrators of the website no choice but to ban him from the whole website. I don't recall that happening here at Bladeforums but it has happened at other UBB websites. I hope that never happens here -- Bladewiz- and anyone else in similar situations are welcome to post here in TGBU.

I would just like to clear things up from my previous post at 1:27 A.M.

First of all, the thread in question was still there, and I definitely sensed that there was a lot of history between you two.

The thread of Don's, which was started in the JSP Forum after my above post, was not there. The other one that was brought back to the top wasn't there either.

After reading the two of them, It helped me to make a decision about the whole mess. I personally think Don's action's were justified!

As far as the "Let's Get It On" statement, well, I guess it was just a poor choice of words on my part! Although I would like for you to make note of that hideous smiley face at the end of the statement. All I wanted, was to get Don's side of things before making a decision...

Thing's are a lot clearer now!

Yeah, I will defend my actions and that of JSP. Most certainly...and there is a long history.

The venom and accusations lie dormant for months, then they flare up again at the slightest provocation.

I did in fact delete the thread of yesterday, it served no purpose but to further piss off "BladeWiz" and myself.

If I went into the Emerson Knives Forum, or, if Fred Perrin had a Forum on this site and I started a Thread, "Attention Emerson (or Perrin) Customers!" and went on to show some things I was manufacturing that were very similar to a LaGriffe, do you honestly think that would stand the sniff test? I think not.

So, that is how this all started with all of the painful explanations afterwards about how no one was ripping anyone else off and how I was threatened with a lawsuit for saying some things were a copy, ripped, etc., and Spark had a copy of all the E-Mails back and forth and if you look at the Thread, "A note to BladeWiz," you will indeed see that Spark thought there were threats of a silly lawsuit as well. It is all B.S.

The guy was making things very similar to what James makes...and he was selling them in the wrong place as well with a Header that read, Attention JSP Buyers, I cannot remember the exact wording, but it is in the JSP Forum right now under the Thread, "A note to BladeWiz."

In the latest debacle, he wants to know how a belt works, fine. The person that responded and told him asked, "Didn't you get instructions with your belt?"

I merely came on and said, "I don't think he has purchased one and left a BIG OLE SMILEY FACE....and the sh*t was on. You see, because I dared to show humor in light of the past differences we have had, I cannot do that you see...

I cannot win with this person. Now he is over hear crying about his right to fish fo things, and his right to just give people a hard time. When he is given a hard time back, he gets indignant.

Welcome to the real world BladeWiz, I am not someone you have pulled over during a traffic stop, I don't have to bow down to you Sir, nor will I. You don't like the smiley face and innocent comment? Tough sh*t.

I'm pissed now. Yeah? He is coming over here and gaining an audience to promote himself? Fine. He won't post over there anymore though.

Now, when he blasts me for making a one sentence "funny" and leaving a smiley face, I come back and blast him, then he says, "This is how JSP treats a potential customer?"

Then I tell him if you are a potential customer, call James and he will let you know everything you need to know.

Then he comes back and says, "When did I ever say I was a potential customer!!!"

WOW!

He won't call James and tell him who he is, truth be known, James has no interest in selling him anything so he can take it back and do whatever it is he is going to do.

By his past posts about "Attn: Prospective JSP Customers" this decision was made and a pattern of behavior was established.

This is all a publicity game to him anyway, he has said so in the past, "Everytime you go off, I get more customers." Fine by me.

See the game?

It is my desire that he now have his membership revoked.

This is not a matter of censorship, this is a matter of someone that wants to do nothing but fight about things that he started in the first place.

Well this is a first me posting here. I usually refrain from entering into these things. But I feel I must say a little something about JSP and Don Rearic. I meet James Piorek at the Blade show this year. I had never bought a thing from him, had seen his website, thought his stuff was little pricey, and did'nt understand how to use half of it.
Well when I looked at his products at the Blade show and saw how clever yet simple some of his things are I was impressed. The quality of everything he makes is first class. James is a first class fellow. No matter how many stupid questions I would ask he would take the time to explain and demonstrate things in detail. And yes I did purchase a pocket meteor from him. If I can afford it I will purchase more of his products.

While I was there Don Rearic came by. I did not know who he was until sometime latter when I read a post about him demostrating a v-gar to a cop at the show. I was there when he did this. I don't think we ever spoke and I sure he does not remember me. I got the same impression of him that I did James. That is that they are straight up no BS guys that will go out of there way to help you. By the same token I would say you do not want to try and mess over them either.
Just my 2 cents.

Don, et al.: This is SO silly.....I hadn't posted there since we had that pissing match in Jan., (which I later apologized to you in a later email, but I doubt that you will repost that like you did today previous posts from Jan.)

A couple days ago I asked how long the loading time of the belt took. Not because I want to MAKE one (I couldn't/wouldn't do it for the reasonable $40 he charges for a V2) but because I wanted to BUY one. The zip pocket looks like just the ticket for an extra cuff key, vehicle key, $, etc. Thats ALL I asked and then the insults at me flew. If you would repost that thread from the other day that you deleted, instead of reposting things from JANUARY, then folks could decide if what I'm saying is the case or not. ...PLEASE repost the stuff you deleted for all to see. I think it would be fair of you to do that, don't you Don? You have reposted things said 8 months ago yet deleted my posts from two days ago....Put them ALL up and don't be selective with them to slant the tone.

Now, as far as this issue goes I am going to put it to bed unless someone has some specific questions. I won't deny that several months ago I made comments that I believed some of JSP prices seemed very high when there a million makers here today that also pruduce some top-notch stuff...However, I thought that right to express onesself was a tenant of what a lot of us have gone to war for.....In light of the recent censorship and deletes of what "goes agains the grain" I see that isn't always the case. Thats a shame because I have seen worse venom on some of the Forums yet it seems the next day they have made up and no talk of censorship or deleted posts arose.

I enjoy using, reading about, making, posting thoughts on, looking at and just about everything else knives have to offer......I'm sure that that is the reason that we all are here....Not to get upset if someone says something disparaging about your particular favorite.

I guess all of the above translates into me extending the proverbial olive branch. Grab the damn branch, Don, un-censor what I wrote, and lets be on with it. And I'm SORRY I ASKED ABOUT THE DAMN BELT, OK? I'll keep using my old one....LOL!

Thanks, guys.

I cannot re-post what I have deleted, I drudged the other stuff back up to the top because it was never deleted.

I'm just not going to comment further, this is like watching Wimbeldon (sp?), tennis might be fun to play, but it is boring to watch, back and forth, back and forth.

I will say one thing, call James. You're a LEO, there is a small, zippered compartment that could hold a spare handcuff key, I would suggest a Bianchi or a Bianchi clone, because if you need a spare, it's quite likely you may need a fumble-proof one. The large Bianchi I have carried was a good, fumble-proof key... Some time ago there was a company that was making a high-quality leather belt where the post that goes through the holes in the belt was a handcuff key. They also still make "keepers" available through Gall's Police Supply that have a concealed handcuff key when you un-snap them. Trick stuff for nasty times.

You mentioned an MP-5 yesterday in one of your posts...so I assume you are a Tac Guy, you could put spare Para-Cord or much better then that, some spare 3mm Kernmantle Cord inside the belt if you do not want to pack a V-Gar in it. Or possibly Flexi-Cuffs. Cash...

You could use a V-Gar for "daisy-chaining" multiple handcuffees...using Flexi-Cuffs, etc., lots of uses besides wacking and grappling with folks...good luck.

THATS what im talking about.,,,,,,fellow evil minds working together......LOL!......Thanks for the Keeper tip..I already own the set but would love to have access to a key if ever hostage and stripped of the toys all but my belt.....HENCE MY QUESTION!!..LOL!
.........Yes, very much a TAC guy.......
Talk to ya soon, Don, and thanks for the response!...for real!......Bryn www.bladewiz.com

(looks down) "Hey, the ****ing olive branch is gone!".....Looks over and sees Don with it.......Hey Don!....I like,,,,,Thanks,,.

WOW.....Found out another thing u cant do here..SWEAR!......It came up all astericks above! Probabally a good thing......

I'm not known as the Master of Weaslecraft for nothing...I have to figure out neat ways to use one thing...to do many things.

Now, if you are a Tac Guy, you see, you are making your own stuff out of G-10, ever think of making a set of "wedges" that you could keep in like an Eagle Pistol Magazine Pouch? I have an Eagle SAS Holster and the ones that have the mag pouch on the front of it...you could stuff these littles wedges in there...you make them just right, probably about a half dozen of them.

What do you do with little G-10 wedges?

You need some doors in the building to stay open or closed when you stack to secure the area, so you have an extra barrel pointed where it needs to be instead of watching your 6? Put a wedge in the door.

You go down through the building or up through it depending on tactical necessity, you are going down the hall on a creep? Drop a wedge, gun on target as you pass doors, you give it a push with your foot.

You guys may already have a protocol for it and equipment, maybe not. Just something I thought of once after seeing a building full of little door stop wedges laying around. Depends on how fast you are moving through the building I guess...too fast and not enough time. Also depends on which way the door opens. But each guy could carry them and they would weigh nothing. I don't know if they would be of any use enough to carry them all the time, I'm not a Tac Guy...

They make small wedges that are "stackable" (look like mini ramps) but the G-10 idea is an example of the thinking I like to see and why I come here....LOL@ Weasalcraft...However, in light of our last couple posts THIS particular forum is not the place for mended-fence idea-bouncing.

Hopefully we can pic it up again sometime on one of the Training/tac forums! www.bladewiz.com

Well, I am a "Tac Guy," but much more in tune with Tactical Defense/Offense than anything else. I'm not a LEO.

Locksmiths use small wedges as well to get "Z" Tools and other tools into modern vehicles, the day of the Slim Jim is more or less over, although they still work in some instances as well.

So, they actually have small wedges for tactical applications then? Interesting. There is nothing much new in this game, just the old being recycled I guess.

Like I said, depends on the way the door opens and carpeting, etc... It works really nicely in stairwells where the floor is concrete and a Tac-Team would most likely need it the most so they would not have to sacrifice a Team Member to cover it or to worry about someone creeping on their 6.

And, this Forum is for the good, the bad, and the fugly...you get peace where you can find peace, if it be here, that is a good thing.

I wish every thread on TGBU ended this well.

The discussion ought to move to one of the tactical forums, though, just so other people who are interested will be able to find it.

Looking at the name of the Forum makes me imagine the eerie tones of Ennio Moriccones' "The Ecstasy of Gold..."
