The gun is actually a knife with a .22 lr revolver built into the handle. It does require a great deal of paper work to purchase one. The same as is required for a Class III item like a machine gun, but since it is classified as an any other weapon (AOW) category firearm the transfer fee is only $5 rather than the Class III, which is $200. This picture shows the knife with the handle open and an example with the handle bolsters remove and the trigger extended to the firing position. An interesting conversation piece.
