Amazing story, and amazing pics. Wow, that is a rough life, but I didnt notice a sad face in the lot. Simple existance makes for happy people. Really cool thread.

I wonder what the Inupiaq think of the plans for the oil pipeline and drilling? Not sure how much said plans will affect them, but curious.

Project Chariot is some disturibing stuff. :(

National Geographic channel had a special on last night about the Whaling in Barrow Alaska didn't get a chance to see it but it is being rebroadcast on the 7th so check your listings if you are interested.

It is truly amazing how just changing location on earth, changes well.......everything. A great read is an understatement.
 
Great read, enjoyed that alot. How about the little people? Living on sunshine with cat naps. I have always said that I can get anything I need with a 22 rifle. I think I will step up to a 22 mag. Thanks for the post.
