Ok, not totally your fault. I have been a knife nut since I cut my leg open while whittleing a stick at 5 yrs old with a Barlow pocket knife.
Finding this site though has rekindled the fire. I have purchased a Rat Izulu,
Ontario Knife R3 in D2 steel, 3 Spyderco Militaries, 2 with CPM S90V blades and a Hershaw Orange Tyrade with the composite blade....oh just ordered a BM Dejavoo.
Must quit looking:D

There's a service for your addictions, it's called watches and flashlights, once you get into either blades, lights, or watches, the other two come naturally. :D Then you don't feel guilty because instead of having 50 knives, you can 50 flashlights and watches to balance the collection. Just ask some of the senior members, they know that blades are just the beginning to collecting expensive things.

Do you read minds!!
I already have 3 Olights and just sent in my Gladius Night Ops for the led upgrade and love watches. My nicest is an Oris Artilier? sp
I also make a few knives, most have been given away but still have 2.

You registered last month, with 5 post and you already bought that many knives. The sickness is progressing at alarming rates. I would suggest placing blame solely on us, that way when the missus ask you can just claim "They made me do it".

Where's the forum for knifeaholics? The soon to be missus gets to see all of the toys. Her only comment was, "when we are married, do I get to buy shoes and purses?" I think I'm in trouble

I actually started with watches, then went to knives, and am just starting with the flash lights.

Same. Started with watches...now getting into knives. I'm not sure about flashlights though, I have a 20-something dealextreme one thatworks pretty well and don't feel the need for more.

My watches that I ended up with after a year of trading:
Casio G-shock Black Dawn Frogman
Seiko SKX007 with Orange Plongeur minute hand
Hamilton Navy Diver on a Nato Bond ;)

Don't go to the Traditional Forum! That rekindling will turn into a barnfire:eek:and you'll be poorer for it:D

I think its a healthy addiction to have. At least your not a meth head or a coke addict. And remember to tell yourself that "I can stop anytime I want". :D
