You guys are bad for my wallet

what about backpacks and gear to carry your gear? (Metagear?)

Aha! I am not the only one! My girlfriend swears she's gonna break up with me if I buy one more pack. I don't know what it is, but I believe having the right bag to carry your stuff is essential and sometimes you have to buy a few (or more) to find that right one. Also, you need different packs for different occasions, right?

This one is from Diamonback Tactical and been carrying it alot lately, usually on daytrips and to the beach. The pouches are from Specter Gear.

I like to always keep at least one folder and one fixed blade in each one of my packs (among other small survival gear). Lately this one has been carrying the Tom Brown Tracker and a SAK Trekker. I found that pistol magazine pouches are absolutely perfect for carrying cell phones and folding knives! Enjoy the pics.

You're screwed dude!! Welcome to the club.

You have passed the point of no return.

It's all good.:D

I know how you feel. I've been reading around and have bought an rc-3, rc-4, cold steel mini pendleton hunter and am having a knife custom made for me. I also already have a list 5 or 6 knives long of knives I want to buy.

I am into straight razors and bought some dmt diasharps to hone razors. well, it got me looking at knives again. two months ago i bought a bk2, bk7 and bk11 as well as a sog seal pup elite and a gerber lmf knife to bang around. i do some leatherworking also and am going to start making custom leather sheaths for my knives.

this is definitely getting crazy.

I'm with Porterb123 here. You guys should have had some type
of disclaimer or something. Or maybe take an application to make
sure people joining are financially sound or are at least willing to
not be so after joining the site, haha :)

And don't forget; in many cases, your taste in EDC stuff just gets more and more expensive. Instead of buying $40 knives, the price range creeps up to $100 and before you know it, you're debating on these forums about why it's perfectly reasonable that you EDC a $600 knife.

EDC rotation 3 years ago. Most expensive knife cost $100:

Latest knives. I have $650 in the Hinderer XM-18. The DDR Madd Maxx III costs $800+ according to Darrel (I got it cheaper on the secondary market):

One can never have enough TOYZ. You can't take it with you.

Cars, motorcycles, guns, knives, flashlights, watches - how can one resist?

I agree with the OP. In the two months since I joined, a RAT RC-6, Emerson Commander, Benchmade Mini-Rukus, 710, Griptillian, and a mini-Grip have found their way into my closet.

A second mini-grip was given to Pop for Father's day. A Busse should be here by the end of the week and camp axes are being researched.

After that I'll find some way to justify one of Laguioles I've been drooling over. We all need a gentleman's folder to carry on those dressy occasions, right?

Dan
