Trying to decide what to carry? I find most mornings I get up and I stand there and stare at my knives trying to to decide what to carry. Which fixed blade, what folder, how about 2 folders instead of fixed blade, might need a fixed blade though, ect.

Anyone else go through this?

My important knives go with me always. Cold weather makes it even easier since concealment is easier with a jacket, so sometimes the big ones have to ride in the glove compartment during the warm weather. If I go through airline security then they all go in the checked luggage and I have to hope for the best. So far so good.

suggest - carry the same edc for 1 or 2 weeks( or longer ) - then you don't have to decide everyday !

This isn't a problem for me atm because I only currently have two "good" knives: A Spyderco Delica 4 and a CRKT S-2. The S-2, with its 4" blade, is a bit large for EDC carry @work, so it's the Delica by default.

speaking of checked luggage, has anyone had trouble losing a knife that was in a checked bag? I hate to be without a knife on a trip, but I don't want to risk losing one to airline security

That's always the most common risk with checked luggage. Anything you have in there has a good chance of being "lost."

If you don't want to risk losing your favorite knife, when you travel, get an inexpensive one to take with you...... If it's stolen out of your bag, you won't miss it much.

I know what your going though Angelus1781. Every morning I have to stair down at my knives and decide what to carry. what knife or knives will be best for the day schedule and so on. One things for sure though, I always have my Leatherman Wave on me.

On those days I just get my girlfriend to choose one for me- easy and involves her in getting me dressed for the day!

I'm a creature of habit. Same EDC, almost every day. The only change is when one of my knives looks neglected. That's about it.

Not for the past several years.

I pretty much EDC a Severtech auto, Spydie serrated Endura and the little Swiss Army. While fishing or boonie humping I'll swap the Severtech for a fixed blade.

I joined the "Leatherman Cult" last year, so the Charge TI slides on my belt. I usually have a BM Presidio Auto or Buck Crosslock clipped in my pocket.

If it's a day when I have to go into Atlanta, I'll tote a small knife and CC a Glock 29.

Yeah, I usually have trouble deciding what to carry. Although, when I get a new knife, I usually carry it for awhile, to see how it will fit into my EDC rotation. Sometimes they do make it, sometimes not.

I would send them overland.

hahaha! you guys!~>

actually *right now*

I have 3 sebenzas 2 hak's and a tachyon on the desk

what should I carry today?

Yeah, one problem in having a whole bunch of cool knives is that you can't carry them all at once. So, yes, sometimes I have a hard time deciding what to carry on any given day. Let's see, Reeve, Mayo, Wilkins, Carson, Strider, who gets the nod today? :)

In my best Bluto Blutarsky drunk burping voice, "Why not?"

Every day I pick up my Benchmade 707 Sequel and my Buck 303 Cadet. Although my mini Ritter Grip has been sneaking in ;) .
