You guys ever have trouble

what I need to do is get a knife for each set of pants and just keep it in there. :D

However, until I'm able to get my collection back to where it should be, I'm with .45acp. My Severtech rides in my front pocket every day. (Along with "back-up" things like a Wilson Combat .45 and a S&W Model 66 .357!) Best Regards--Jim SEMPER FI:D

Not nearly enough pocket space. And even if I could find a place to put 'em all, I'd still be shlepping around something like ten or fifteen pounds of steel. I like knives, but I like to be comfortable, too .... ;)

Every day.Try to pick one the night before.Never get it right.Always got the perfect knife at home for the task, wrong one in the pocket.I never know what I'm going to require from a knife and just have to make do.Every couple of weeks I do have the right knife and get immense satisfaction when I do.

It's usually a long drawn-out process for me, and my wife just rolls her eyes. I actually tried to carry just one knife today, but somehow I ended up carrying 3 again. Yesterday I was able to make myself carry one. So many variables come into play. It's a sickness... I know... But I don't care!:D

I only have two to choose from and then I try to carry the Chosen One for at least a week, if not longer, before I switch over to the second one. Somehow I have this feeling that the more I hang out here the more money I'm going to end up spending on knives! I'm already giving some serious thought to the large Retribution from Ontario! Although I'll have to figger a way to mount a clip on it.

I know this thread has been dead a little while, but I have to reply because I have been dealing with this issue more and more lately. It's odd, because I've always been a knife nut, even as a kid, but I guess since I've been involved reading and researching more about knives and such here on bladeforums, I have expanded my interests a bit. It's great when I get home and I've got time on my hands to sit around and sharpen and play with my knives and all, but I swear, it's getting to be a real hassle in the morning! I've almost been late to work just because I had to run back in the door to change out a knife. Yeah, I've got issues!

usually it's whatever is newest... right now a Spyderco Native, but i'm missing the frame lock on my BM Monochrome

i have a Griptilian coming soon, that should crack the lineup here shortly

but i always have my Wave and SAK

I have the same problem. I can tell it bugs the hell out of my girlfriend, but she's a sweetheart and never says anything about it.

I'm a creature of habit. Same EDC, almost every day. The only change is when one of my knives looks neglected. That's about it.

Same here. Same two knives almost everyday.

Benchmade 550 Griptilian and a Victorinox Soldier.

I only carry other knives if my current ones need sharpened and I don't have the time to do it.

Sometimes, it can be an issue for me. About this time last year, or perhaps earlier, I decided on a specific EDC carry. The fun part of collecting, for me, was trying to replace the ones that I carried. The targets - was there something to replace my Mini-Grip/Delica 3/SAK/Ka-Bar Dozier/Dragonfly? So far the Mini-Grip was replaced with a Mini Grip/tanto, Delica 3 with a D4, I have a small SAK and tried to replace it with a Soldier, but I now usually have both - still haven't found something for Ka-Bar (carry it IWB), nothing has been able to replace my Dragonfly. When I wear cargos, in goes my old Mini-Grip and Delica 3 - go figure.

Current Work EDC is a Blue Handled Spyderco 93mm Rescue. I will probably rotate it to a ZDP-189 Delica - if I ever frikkin get one.

Outside of work, I have multiple choices. Fun problem to have though.

For me it depends on what order of dress , and wether i'm on or off duty . Mood also factors in .

Oh I know how it is, I have a terrible case of OCD. I usually have 4-5 knives laying out for the day so I can swap out quickly. However, for the last month, I've found the Endura 4 to fit the bill nice. At home and work, it does the job. Good luck, there is no cure.

Until this week, I only had 2 knife that I could carry (the others could have get me arrested :jerkit: ) So it was the Laguiole for tie and jacket situation, and a Camillus Heat the rest of the time. But not I have a Maxx too. So it will be "Do I feel for the big one or the regular one?"

I'm getting closer....having a gent's folding knife made...

seriously, though...I keep a Skirmish in my short's pocket (which is what I usually wear in the shop) and for some reason today had pants on instead...and No Knife! :( :grumpy:

Sure, I'm just a few steps away from several dozen knives (in various stages of completion)...but there's just something about having My knife in My pocket...and I hate it when it's not there!

So...I have two pairs of shorts and 3 pairs of pants that I usually rotate through (barring special occasions...like church :D)...5 EDC knives..? shoudn't be hard, right?

I generally rotate between a Kershaw Chive, BM 730 with burgundy scales, BM 730 with black blade/scales when in jeans. When in dress pants, I choose between a BM 720 or the Chive. For some reason the Spyderco Delica doesn't seem right.
