This is what I remember also. Since at the time I was shown the SOUL it was not quite my taste I didn't buy it. Since the agreement was it couldn't be sold, traded, or photographed I didn't buy one for later trade material or resale value.
Could I have and made a huge profit?, probably, but I could not live with myself for doing so.

It is a sad day when a promise between two gentlemen is broken.

Whoever the original purchaser was, I am positive, could have made arrangments to liquidate this knife in an honorable fasion if there were a real need to do so. I would be wiling to bet my paycheck on this.
