Hi,

I want to buy a knife from someone of this forum, an older Chris Reeve Jereboam.
I live in Germany and the seller does not want to ship it overseas or make the payment with paypal, he prefers US postal money order. He has got his reasons.

But I want the knife !!!

So, I need someone to whom I send the money with paypal ( this is the only working method for me in Germany), the person then sends the money to the seller of the knife, gets a package with the knife and sends the package to me, to Germany.
Of course I will include shipping costs and thr 50 Dollars "reward" for you in my paypal payment.

I am writing to you all in this forum, because I have made several very good experiences with knife deals in the past and I trust you.

It would be great if I could get this knife, it means very much to me.

From the original note until today, finally this task has been completed to satisfaction of all.

Jens has his mint Jereboam safe in Germany, he paid me every nickel of fees necessary, the seller has all his cash, and I made two friends happy and another fifty-dollar-bill for the work. (It DID take some doing....)

All-in-all, I used my gut instinct and good people prevailed.

Good on you Coop and good on Jereboam, I admit that my first reaction was to help out, but my second thought was that this was some sort of scam but I did not know for sure so I just put up and shut up. I am glad that it was not and that everyone is happy.
