What knife do you crave but you know in your heart you will never buy it for whatever reason?

Mine is the Lile First Blood. I absolutely love that knife (maybe because of the movie) but I know I will never buy it (not because of the $3500 price tag, which I am only after finding out ) but because I can get a much cheaper knife in the exact same style at a fraction of the cost (CRK Projects, have to get one before the end of the year mind) and it serve as good if not better every purpose the Lile would. Maybe I am just a cheap ass irish rogue though :D

Busse MOAB. I would love to, but my fiance would kill me if I spent over 2k on a knife. Hell, she almost kills me when I purchase a firearm for over 2k.

Swamp Rat Waki. It's such a badass knife/sword but totally impractical (unless the zombie apocalypse finally arrives) and very expensive.

Southpaw large Sebenza.

I get close to ordering one, but the price just always backs me away.

I got a Waki.... very useful in the yard clearing away brush. it has also been camping with me a couple of times. $400ish isn't that much for high end metal.

just my .02.... to each his own I guess.

I'm going to pick one up, convex it and use it as a machete.

Galyean Pro Series JYD Large. I have an Sg2 JYD blem, and it's as close as I'll ever get to owning a Galyean Pro Series. I would love one but even at $350 it's too much for me to afford, I can't justify the cost when there's so many other things I could better put my money towards at this point in my life. Maybe one day I'll get one, one day...

I would really like a Jerry Halfrich Lockback Rounder with green jigged bone scales. It would be way out of my price range though.

Any Bob Lum folder. On top of the price, I couldn't get myself to use it and it would kill me to leave it in a safe.

For me, most likely one of these 2, and the cost is the only reason !

A Rockstead "Nehan" gentlemen knife:

Nearly any Emmanuel Esposito design - he's a surprisingly young italian custom maker, highly talented. For example:

I don't have a large enough yard for "brush." And if I did, I'd probably get a weedwacker to save time. :p

You're right, $400 is the standard for high end cutlery (Sebenza, SnG, Waki, etc.). I just think that's too high for my budget. I can get more affordable knives that perform well and spend that extra cash for other things.

I still think the Waki is one of the coolest things out there though.

I know its an art knife, but it just grabbed my eye, and the gear reduction auto is kind of cool with the slow opening. he make some other cool knives as well, but I dare not look at the prices

A Large Sebenza. Ive been wanting one for years now. Not too pricey but I know I'll never be able to fork over enough cash to get one. With school and bills I'm always broke! Maybe one day I can find someone to take some of my blades off me for one. I hope!!!!!
