you find yourself rewinding through a movie to see if you can identify the knife that the character is using! I do it all the time! i can identify them alot too

Yeah, I've done that a few times. When I first discovered Cold Steel, I had no idea one of their push-daggers was in Platoon. SO, I went out and rented Platoon. Recently, I saw a few ESSE's in Battle Field L.A.

Glad to see ESEE has come into the popular eye. They have some pretty good stuff. The first time I saw a trailer for "The Expendables" on TV, I HAD to go back to see if it was what I thought it was. Sure enough, XL Espada.

I do this in almost every movie I watch, tv shows too. I posted a question about the knife Ving Rhames was using at the end of "The Tournament ". Still no answer on that one.
But ya I'd say most of us are a little obsessed around here, but happily so.

I'm going through the "Lost" series. Does anyone have any info on the knives the character John Locke uses? I've seen a couple I thought I recognized but have never been able to track them down.

I'm pretty sure that pseudo-Locke uses an older SOG Tigershark when he fights Jack in the show's last episode. It looked very familiar to me.

Edit: If you go to 1:18 in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEPbo-5xf_c, you get a pretty good look at the blade he's using.

I definitely saw a Spyderco in one of the episodes. It had a Hawkbill. Locke, I think that is what his name was, was using it.
