You know you're old when...

...
I'm blank. My mind is a blank. I thought the old Endura had an integral molded pocket clip like the Cold Steel GRIK does? I just bought an AUS-8 serrated Endura and a Snap-It GIN-2 Stainless, and I am pretty psyched about my new editions to the "Old" and Discontinued Spydie" series. On the other hand, I know where they got the idea for the Centofante scales.

Was there an even older Endura before this? Like, one that ran on coal or whatever you used back in nineteen-something?
😉

"We here."
"*Sighhhhhh*, it's 'We are here' or 'We're here".
"No, we here. You understood what I said though, didn't you?

I used to do that kind of thing you're doing when I was 15.

You understand what he said, didn't you?
We gon' talk 'bout this Endura, bruh. We talkin' Enduras.
Punctuation makes all the difference. Would you rather help your Uncle, Jack, off a horse, or help your uncle jack off a horse?

I remember when Spydercos were the new knife on the block. They couldn’t hardly give em away at first, then they took off.

Same thing with Glocks. They had to give police forces incentives to buy the ugly damned things. Now they’re the standard for reliability (as long as you don’t use reloads).

I just think it is obnoxious to come onto the scene with no other contribution but a somewhat snooty-natured "*you're". I speak from experience, I took great joy in being a grammar/logic nazi in my teenage days. Stopped doing it because of how it came off.

Ha, that's the funny thing, even the "designed in the dark" Spydercos like the Dodo, the Cricket, the Yojumbo, and a lot of "ugly" knives by them. Glocks, too, I think are good, and by the same merit, I do not consider Hi-Point THAT bad. But, about the Spyderco, I love it, I get so much hate on the regular knife subreddits, like 27% downvotes, but a lot of love on the Spyderco subreddit. Folks said "These look like they grew on the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down" "What did you do to that poor Spyderco" "Who the F puts a wave on a trainer?!" 😂

Old :When you need to put a little knife and flashlight on your keychain , so you can't drive off without 'em . ;)
That, sir, is what the Spyderco Bug and the Opinel no. 2 are for! 😁 That, or being bayonets for a Kolibri pistol.

I would love someone to make and install a custom Bug blade out of 3V or something, you know, something I can really hammer on.

You know you're old when you only want to collect OLD things that remind you of when you were young.

This is my collection Gen1 Endura Clip-its:

Man, I am slowly accumulating older Spydercos and generally if I can get some around my age, from around '96, I am happy. You have seen my 440V Millie and my ATS-55 Civilian. I just bought a serrated AUS-8 Endura, not sure when it is from yet, and a G-2 serrated Snap-It wrongly identified by seller as a Salt. I think that last one is the oldest one I will have yet if I am not mistaken.
I seriously bought them all to carry, but I find it hard to carry them because of their "vintage".

Also, what knives are those, if I may ask?
