Here's a couple of sheaths I finished for a customer who provided his own templates.

Those look freakin' awesome my friend. Damn.

Nice sheaths BE. I really like that color, and the textured look of the top one. How you do that if I may.

Top Secret. Not really. That is the way the hide looked. Must have been one bruised and contused bovine........scratched and scarred.
Made for a neat look though.

Hell yeah it did. Good stuff. Did you mix in a little mahogany colored dye with your light brown to get that shade. Beautifull!

That one is saddle tan dye and tan antique applied over it. Then I used some 4-0 steel wool to give it an accelerated aged and weathered look.

That is some amazing work Balding!

I've used the same style background/camoflauge on my last few projects, and I love the way it turns out.

Awesome job with the rope border as well. Borders are my least favorite part of stamping, but if they are not clean it ruins the entire piece. I will have to put in plenty more practice before mine come out that clean.

It's amazing how imperfections show up in photography. I can see faults. But.......I am my own worst critic. I love tooling. But you are right. Make a mistake and you are throwing it in the scrap bin. Thanks for the kind words.

I do the same thing with my work. I notice every stitch that is of center by a hair, but other people don't seem to.

If those were my sheaths you would hear no complaints from me.

BE...beautiful work man, by the time i get myself back in the woods, I will be getting another from you...

Its official, for the first time beckerheads had a snarkulator i finished a complete 50 pages of madness, now i have to go back and read the fist 4 from this one...
