You mean "fark," right?

I'm on a crazy SAK and Case kick lately! Anyone else slowly moving away from OHO's? I still love them, but I am now carrying them less in favor of slippies, especially kicking around the house.

Yar. I got this a couple months ago, and it hasn't left my pocket since.

I've tried to get into slipjoints, but just can't. I've been spoiled by Kershaw Speedsafe and Benchmade Axis locks. That green Case looks really nice, but if I owned it, I'd just look at it or display it.

I made some super-thin liners for my BK15 today and they work with stock hardware. Since I have it in a kydex sheath, it's nice to be able to still use that, but still have the aesthetic appeal of a liner.

Unless your collecting Saturday night specials for the novelty factor I would stay away. I think i remember it being made by Davis, who is right up there with Lorcin,jennings... Bad triggers, cracked hinges...cheap metal. No where near the quality of NAA.

no sir, no sat night specials here... and I think my first handgun was a davis, or jennings something along that line... it was a .380 and ran the first mag just fine, after that it jam-o-matic every other round... never bought garbage after that experience....

I just seen one and had never heard of it but should have known better because it looked like it was chromed:eek:

speaking of slippies, I really regret selling some of my early '70's puma's... the old stuff is highly collectible, I wished there was a way I could find super old posts on here as I'd like to contact the buyer and off to buy back one of 2 he bought from me..

the puma cub, really nice feel in the hand...

ooh, I have to go into the exchange and see if I can look it up....... ..........................

ETA: just searched the exchange for puma cub and my old ad came up with several puma's, problem is the guy that bought the cub must have email me directly.... kinda sad really it was sorta sentimental in a weird twisted way to my wife, it was her late abusive step dads, but she was kinda pissed I sold them...

I still have the puma 971 gamewarden and puma junior though.... :D the puma junior is probably one of the best slippies I've ever owned...

the game warden is worth a little money and may drop that badboy on gheybay, really dont care for it...

So, last week, my car was taken. My Becker and Esee 3s were both in it.

Insurance says that my insurance lapsed so it isn't covered (which is bull.)

I am not looking at getting a motorcycle instead of another car. Not sure what I'm going to do about my knives. I filled out the knives on a secondary police report, that way if they have been used in anything illegal my butt is covered.

wow !!! dude sorry to hear that..... they ought to be strung up publicly, I'm getting so sick and tired of these thieves... seems to be happening more and more frequently....

hope it turns up man...

Just got a text from Clayton...He's ok and safe, he is having some personal issues that has taken the steam out of him...Stuff that we have all had to go through one time or another...I mentioned that he might want to pop in here and let y'all know something... Just giving you a little update. I still think he will pull through and get right with y'all..

stolen stolen. have a police report for the car and 1 for the knives. my mom was real sweet she bought me a new becker 3 to replace mine already. She knows how handy it was in the car she had seen it a couple times herself.

boo for a thief, yay for an awesome mom...sorry man, i hope the best comes out of this for you...

Sucks about the car and knife CB. Do you use public transportation a lot? Seems like a motorcycle only wouldn't be all that handy in Chicago, with the 6 months of crummy weather.

Two words. Thicker Clothing.

I know all about dressing for the weather! I just know we use so much road salt up here that the bikes get put away in November and don't come out until April or May. Sometimes we'll get a nice day in the winter and you'll see a handful of loonies out on their bikes!

I know how it is. Last year we barley had any snow but about an inch of salt in some places.
