Hey Guys,

Being on this forums gives me a lot of insight into why I carry knives. Before knowing about this forum, I used feel weird about liking traditional pocket knives as much as I did. Now, it doesn't bother me so much. I just might be a knife nut. Here is something about myself Foxworthy stylel. Feel free to share yours.:)

You might be a knife nut if.. you haven't cut anything in 2 weeks, but still carry three slippies on ya, just in case :D

When someone asks to borrow a knife and you ask them witch one.
or
When they ask to borrow a knife and you ask for collateral.

Now ain't that the truth!

You are NOT a knife knut if you have a few knives, like 1 for EDC, 1 for protection, and 1 for camping.

You are a knife knut when you start gettting more than 1 for each function.
 
IF deciding what to put in your pockets in the morning takes longer than picking out your clothes.

If you don't make up your mind, and take a few extra along just in case.

If you buy a new SAK because it has one feature different than one you already have, and you just might need that.

If you have one knife that you only wear with one kind of pants, another that only goes with jeans or dungarees, and one that must never ride anywhere but in that one pocket of your sport coat. And then another that fits in the watch pocket of your jeans...
 
You just might be a Knut when you run out of room on these shelves to display your knives.

If someone who carries three knives asks you why you carry so many knives...

If everytime a box needs to be opened everyone present looks at you...

If you have ever won a bet that you can lose ten pounds by emptying your pockets...

If you clean, close and pocket your knife after cutting yourself rather than dropping it...

Man, I like that display every time I see it Jim.:cool::thumbup:

I have not started making one yet since I talked to you about making one, with all the spring projects going on, but that hot Summer sun will soon be here and making a display at the high noon heat of the day, in a cool basement will get this project done.:)

Thank you, I need new pictures because another maker now has a couple of shelves plus some by new makers I had custom work done. I hope you project is successful, be sure and get scrap glass for the shelves. You can cut it your self with a cutter and flat table. I will be glad to give you some tips.
