A little slow on the poll. Who was it and why?

The correct answer is Abraham. He was a bit too defiant (puffing out his chest and all), he started talking about a future (never a good sign), and whoever it was took it like... Abraham.

Also, while it was Glenn in the comics, Abraham was already dead by this time, and Glenn and Maggie aren't done yet on the show.

It wasn't Rick or Carl because they're Rick and Carl.

It wasn't Michone or Sasha or Magie because Negan's not going to kill a girl to make a point.

It wasn'r Daryl because he's Daryl, Also, he's already been shot, so it wouldn't be sporting.

How do you know it was Abraham? I think it was him, Aaron or Eugene but i am not certain on either of them so i didn't vote

None of us know for certain. It's a best guess thing.

And it wasn't Aaron because he's not really a central character, and it wasn't Eugene because Negan said, "look at him, taking it like a champ/" Eugen's come a long way, but not that far.

Sure, I'll buy that... but it's only a guess. And I have to say, I'm not really caring for Negan as a villain so far. His hair seems well done, the leather jacket seems too new, and he talks too much... he seems too polished for this far along in the zombie apocalypse... he struck me as a demented game show host--at least in the little we saw. I was expecting a bit more gruff and gritty a villain; the finale was going good until the end.

That's why i hope it is Aaron, because i don't give a toss about him!

Also, i think it could be Eugene because Negan doesn't see much in him. On the other hand, Abraham is willing to stand up and die for his friends. That's admirable and possibly something Negan might want to use to his advantage later on. I just hope he picks a character that has the least use and i see them as Aaron first, then Eugene, then Abraham. I don't think anyone else in the group has a chance of it being them.

I'm not buying Negan either. Apart from all that other stuff, he as really chewing up the scenery. I think they really overplayed it.

But since I don't have anything else to watch on Sunday nights....

Glenn----
Throughout the last episode there were POV shots of someone in the back of the van, and you could see Daryl/Michonne from their perspective---then they have the finale POV shot of the death. So I'm 99% its Glenn....and it follows the comic (I know that doesn't matter but I still think from all the POV evidence and all the near-death experiences of Glenn were warming us up to his death)

Glen, his time has been coming for a bit and this situation needs to have an "impact"....no pun intended....

If it wasn't Abraham, it was Glenn.
It has to be somebody who will have an impact.
But not too much impact.
Plus, I think Glenn got immunity by already dying once this season.

Ha! Yeah, I'll definitely keep watching....

I vote Aaron after rewatching the end of the episode. They were lined up in this order:

The last person we saw on screen was Rick then Negan took a couple steps to his right and started swingin'! That means it could of been Sasha, Aaron, Carl or Eugene. Before he swung he said "Anybody moves, anybody says anything, cut the boys other eye out and feed it to his father". That means it wasn't Carl. That leaves Sasha, Aaron or Eugene. I don't think he would of killed Sasha just because of what we know Negan does to women in the comics. So most likely it was Aaron or Eugene. Imma go for Aaron cause nobody cares about him and Eugene's character development is just starting to kick off.

Aaron it is!

I kinda don't think it will be Glenn just because so many people expect it, bit for maximim shock effect he'd smack Glenn AND THEN smack Maggie if she screams. If I was Negan, Abraham would get his head caved in or puffing up. Then again, everyone that comes up with a plan for group sustainability gets offed. Eugene's ammo plan puts him in jeopardy. So I'm going with..........I have no clue.

I would be upset if they took Glenn's death from me in this specific manner. His death drives the story forward. It creates the Rick that Alexandria needs moving forward.

Throughout the episode, you get a first person view from someone inside a dark place. This POV is recurrent a few times from the same angle and distance from the light. Lights are seen shining through a large, vertical slit and round holes(Bullet holes). Glenn, Daryl, Michonne and Rosita were all in the van. The last time in the episode we see a POV angle is when someone is being bashed by Lucille. This means its somewhat safe to believe that the final POV shot of the person being killed is the same as the person in the van.

A little about Negan. He is a messed up dude who leads by fear. He does have his own code that he follows pretty strictly. He doesn't kill women and he is absolutely against rape. This means the women(Michonne and Rosita) should be safe from Lucille.

The last POV angle from inside the van, the door opens and you see someones head in the lower left of the screen in the corner of the van against the wall and facing the back doors. When you see them bringing people out, that is where Daryl is sitting. This means that Daryl was not the POV shot from inside the van and should also not be the POV shot from the kill.

This only leaves Glenn who appeared to be brought out from the center of the van and was the final person to exit.

With Daryl being seen by the POV, and Negans code against killing or raping women. Its only fitting that Glenn is the one who get chosen.

THANK YOU.

I posted about the POV thing in my post (#11) but no one pays attention lol
(also posted about it in the big TWD thread but no one payed attention there either)
