My buddy and his wife have just come back from Mt Washington up Island, check out the snow they've had up there !

Holy, well you know what. That is an amazing amount of snow! It makes me almost glad that we do not get snow in my part of South Carolina.
How are the people getting out of their houses? I only see the driveways plowed out, but not a path to their doors.
 
I'd hate to be the homeowners at the bottom of that hill (pic2) come spring thaw.

THat's crAZY! Sure am glad I don't live there. I just hope I don't have to deal with another couple 2' snows this year. :D

Mount Washington is a ski resort. It had the deepest base in the whole World over Christmas. People were getting turned away because it was so busy.
 
Gives new meaning to the phrase "digging out!"
I know the lodge on Mount Hood pretty much only has second story entrances in the winter, which was a shock to me.
 
god i want to see 30+ feet of snow and -50 Celsius temps here in Vancouver BC. Timberwolves roaming the streets picking off the weak. Polar bears the size of cargo vans hunting the politicians. Hoards of polar zombies picking off the rest.

and I will be snug as a bug in a rug with the wood stove fueled with hard oak, and my knives and tomahawks at the ready. Big cast iron stoves full of hearty meaty stew, and a well stocked beer fridge.

please, i'm begging, let this happen!
 
the heck with half of that. I'd take about 2 feet. Just let me know when it's coming, so I can be sure to have the plow all ready, on my truck.
 
Think I will stay put down South and look at the pictures. Thats incredible!!!!!
