You think you've had snow !!!

I remember having to dig out our front door and garage once...after climbing outside onto the snow-covered "ground"...level with the middle of the second story windows.

Another time I was on top of the second floor balcony farting around and fell off to fall head-down into the snow the whole length of my body. If my older step brother hadn't walked by and seen my boots kicking before grabbing my step dad, I'd have suffocated for sure.

Another reason why I love Texas

60 Today

I was raised in Chicago--had enough snow to last me...

Great Photos,,,,,,,,,,,,

What's the big deal?

That looks like an average Indiana winter :foot:

I don’t effing think so.

I complain about MO weather but we’ve never seen snow like that.

Those pics from Japan are pretty wild!

We had a pretty severe snowstorm here too, where an island was severely battered by blizzards and heavy snow.

At one point a woman went into labour and needed to be hospitalized ASAP. An army medic ACP was on standby, as is standard procedure during forecasted blizzards, and was sent to her location. With the crew was a midwife. On regular days the drive would take 40 mins. But the ACP drove through the snow for 17 hours and had to give up at last, as it kept getting stuck.

As it became clear that the ACP wouldnt make it, another midwife was sent from a different location on ski's. Luckily she made it and the baby was delivered without any problems.
