You won't believe this story!

Seems like you were $hit outta luck. Just goes to show what a dedicated knut will do to get back an EDC.

Actually, I think there's several lessons to be learned from all this.

The first one that comes to mind is; Never wear your sheath in front of the fist belt loop or it will slide right off when you drop trou!

Get gas before Thursday night!

Don't get all excited about a new job prospect till your filling out your W-2s.

Buy older model trucks & cars, they're much cheaper to fix.

Never pick up a toilet and carry it when it's full of POOP!!!

LMAO

Sounds all too familiar.

A suggestion on the alternator........next time you are near a wrecking yard, buy a couple scrap GM alternators, so you'll have parts just in case.

Also, contact a local rebuilder near you, and obtain parts fom them. They are usually happy to sell the parts.

As for the toilet, I think I'd have done the same thing.

Glad you got the knife back! :)

Holy Crap!

After hearing that I'm going to be more careful with my knives when I go to the bathroom ! I did drop a harmonica in the ol' pot while I was playing some blues--now I read magazines !

My wife would never ever let me forget that one !

You poor guy !

Dude, that sounds so much like something I would do! It seems like when things just aren't going my way the best thing is a little "caveman therapy" on the current object of frustration! (didn't you love that scene in "Office Space"?!)

Anyway, thanks for the great story and best of luck fixing your "modie", etc....

I feel for ya Praetorian. I know from personal experience that checkbooks and pagers (popped out of its case) don't survive as well as a knife...:D

You story almost insures a better week than that for all of us though.
