YOU'LL ALL LOVE THIS!! Please watch!!

The other silly thing she saids it that the original bill was passed to get these assault rifles (STYLED is the word I am looking for!) out of the hands of the gangs that were killing our police officers..........

Sounds good but what a bunch of crXp! So the gang members suddenly started obeying the laws and did not use them any more?? And like they were using these guns in the first place to ANY degree?? less than .001% o so of all crimes were committed with such weapons...........

Sad - and yet it is not often that such bunk is confronted and their ignorance exposed - but hey its all about the feel good laws! And like Ted said - you know they had all sorts of "Guns Not Allowed In This Building" signs. I guess bad guys just cant read.....................

I don't get it? All the barrel shroud does is keep your hands off the heated barrel. Maybe hey want us to singe our hands:rolleyes:
I shoulda watched the vid first;-) "What's a barrel shoud" Shoulda asked her for the left handed monkey wrench

"I believe it's the thing the shoulder and it. . . "

"No. It's not."

ROTFL!!!!!

So she re-authorizes and expands a bill that she AGREES was not the best bill and is not the best bill.

Could you imagine if the rest of your life ran this way.

"We here at Ford care. We care about our profits. Sure our cars may blow up or crumble into a heap if in an accident. But even that's doubtful. Because your engine will likely fall out before you even reach crumble-speeds."

"Hi, my name's Jeff. I'll be your server at Applebee's tonight. Order whatever you'd like. I'm gonna bring you a plate of napkins and charge you for the most expensive item. Enjoy."

"Hi, we're from Sears to deliver you new washing machine. What's that? You ordered a refrigerator? Lemme check. Yup. You did. Well, where do you want this bad-boy? What? Yes, I understand this isn't what you want. Sure. But where do you want it?"

Unreal.

Man I feel safe now! How the heck do people like this get elected?????

Wait......I'm from Minnesota.....the state where nothing is allowed....now I know how people like that get elected. Our state legislature is full of pukes like her, and this state tends to send pukes like her to Washington too.

Typical liberal knee jerk reaction. They just don't get it. I can't understand how they figure that legislating the honest citizens rights away will make things safer. Why don't they get it that the bad guys will do what they want because they just don't obey the laws in the first place?

I forgot.....our legislature did give us concealed carry. I use that all the time! So maybe some things are allowed here in Minnesota! Just remember people, they're going to keep coming. If the democrats win in '08 we will be screwed. They'll go after our firearms with a vengeance. Keep that in mind the next time you vote.....just 'cause grampa and dad voted for that party doesn't mean it's the same party it was in the thirties and the fifties!!!!

Still there this morning...

And BTW, it's from Wikipedia, but---

In the U.S. in 2005, 156 line of duty deaths were recorded of which 44% were from assaults on officers, 35% vehicle related (only 3% during vehicular pursuits) and the rest from other causes: heart attacks during arrests/foot pursuits, diseases contracted from suspects, accidental gun discharges, falls, and drownings.

So 69 were from assaults, and of those, I am sure there is a more detailed stat that breaks it down further. For now, I am going to go hide my Toyota, as I am sure that is the next thing to be banned.

Yikes... people like that everywhere making decisions for us!! Too bad they've already banned high cap mags and barrel shrouds in Canada :D

i can think of only two recent shootings involving assault rifles on officers. in san clemente, an officer was sniped and killed. in another two lapd officers were shot with an ak, both lived.

i believe most officers killed by gunfire die from pistol wounds. relatively few are assaulted with rifles.

just more legislation that sounds good to the layman, but in reality makes absolutely no sense.

Emotional political issue positioning for career politicians who dont know what laws they are enacting or the price to society. Look at crime in Australia. The constitution dosent mean much to some people.
