At 1:30 this morning a bright flashing light awakened me. Honey dog stood beside my bed with a confused ,anxious look. Reached for my .45 & headed for Patsys bedroom. I snore ,so after cuddling she goes to her room down the hall. We almost never burn our ceiling fan lights. Her fan light was blinling as if you were flipping the switch in a rhythm.

Scared the bejeebers out of me. "The Old lady is back " First the t/v, the milage roll back ,someting else & now this !
We are definitely having a down-size sale this coming weekend. Don't know if we'll buy a smaller house or move into a pro-rated apartment . I'll keep most of my guns but will probably have to give my family antique treasures.

I cut Patsys fan off & solved that problem. Her room has 3 switckes & a remote control. After supper we will try to fix the flickering.

Feel like I am an older version of Vampire Gerbil .

You tell them ghosts to get useful or leave .

They can clean the house & walk the dog , tell them
that no freeloaders allowed !

UA,

If the ceiling fan was blinking as in a rhythm, it sounds like some loose wiring which can burn your house down. This would not be ghost induced, just lack of maintenance/repair induced. Fix that circuit, and that may chase away that poltergeist.

I vote for a loose light bulb. It only makes contact intermitently when the fan is on. Or it could be a brownie waking you up so you wouldn't pee the bed. I need to get me a dog like that. A "watch out for me" dog. Trained to find my keys too.
