I saw this in a classified add as a "Apocalypse Zombie Axe"-I'm sure you guys will be lining up to buy this beauty!
 
At first I thought it was a door knocker for mother-in-law's or ex-wife's house. Novelty to be sure!
 
i remember once coming across a CL ad for a similar implement, but it was a 24 tooth carbide tipped 7-1/4" circular saw blade welded to a welded chain like above. ridiculous.
 
Damn WJC01......why are you calling me out on this?!?! I've spent months perfecting my perfect zombie weapon.
 
I prefer the idea of a length of chain with a padlock on each end for such purposes. It's a ghetto take on the old manriki chains
 
Man, that'd work really well if the chainlinks weren't welded. Nothing better for killing zombies than an axe-mace.

(Nothing against zombie stories, I like them. And it looks like a decent head.)
 
A proper zombie axe will have the eye cut down to about 1 inch and then flair into a bearded bit. This way the axe is completely useless for any work harder than cutting a steak. But it looks cool and that's all that really matters for a zombie axe since the owner never leaves his computer chair.
 
I'll pass because theirs too much runout on the grain, can't see if the haft is properly fitted to eye, inconsistent patina on the head, I prefer a curved handle, I huv nuttin again tho zombies so I ain't promotin' axn' em :rolleyes:
 
only thing that beats ax mace is sword-chucks, nothing beats nunchucks made of swords(except themselves no one survived testing...)
