Well heck, now that there's a part two, I have no excuse to not contribute.

My name's Nick, I'm 16. I've got a passion for knives, but don't have the income to match :p

Currently I own a Delica, Yojimbo 2, Tasman Salt PE, Gen 1 Spyderedge Endura, Ladybug Hawkbill Salt, a Bradley Kimura VII, and a Benchmade 51.

Hah, fine. I'll go take pics here shortly then.

I loved the Delica. Then I acid/stonewashed it, and now it's dull. Very dull. I haven't got around to spending enough time on my sharpmaker to get the edge back.

Edit: Pics. The Bradley and the LBHB are on loan to others. I forgot to mention I also have a Fenix PD35.

Welcome Nick! I'm digging the hidden wave mod and the balis, I've got a matched set of Kimura 7s myself. :D

I'm looking forward to getting a Mayhem later on in the year...

Not exactly matched, I dinged mine up a bit and I'm sure there's some rust in the handles. :o

I also organized them by how much I paid for them.

I got the 51 for $100, and the Endura for free off the PIF thread. I love Craigslist :D

Well I am still too old for this thread, but i enjoy lurking around :) You guys regularly restore my faith in the younger generation!
As I am old(er) I also need the nice green arrow to remind me to check in once in a while, so you have to bear with a single post from me here I fear.

To keep up with the knife content I have something here with an old design to share:

Welcome!

That's 3 people with PD35s, I wonder if we'll get more?

Repost from the first thread:

I am shaping Micarta for the first time in my life. It works well and has a nice texture, but man, does that stuff stink when it gets hot on the belt sander! This knife will be a drop point version of the Nessmuk that I finished yesterday. It will have natural linen Micarta scales and bright blue paper liners.

Edit: nice Laguiole Nal0n! I've seen them posted on the traditional sub quite a bit, I should really pick one up. :)

Mine is much more scratched up than your's Chris, I've only dropped it a couple hundred times...:o

I really like all the finishes you've got going on there! PCB etchant? You can paint the edge with fingernail polish to protect it during the acid bath, also paint the logo's and the tang area. Did you try it on the H1 and get no effect or just didn't even bother?

I'm sort'a a young guy- 26 here but I feel older. Got a wife, 3 kids (9, 6 & 2), 3 dogs and a brand new house, I didn't exactly get to be a kid quite as long as I would have liked.

Yep, PCB etchant. I know of the nail polish, I put some around the pivot hole.
I think it was the stonewash that messed up the edge though.

The only ones I've etched/tried etching are the delica and my Bradley.
