Your All-Time Busse Favorites?

That's a great list, kdstrick--love the mini-reviews on each knife. Hard to argue.

My thoughts on "favorite" Busse's were for everyone's favorites regardless of what criteria are most important to each person. But I can't think of any criteria better than the knives you enjoy using the most. Gotta say--that's a great little modded Meaner.
 
^^^^ Thanks Will... tough narrowing it down to just a handful of Busse's. But I figure there must be a reason for the one's I use the most.

for me it's a toss up. For pure utility, my 1311 is by far my most useful knife, but for overall awesomyness, my AK47 is unmatched. I can't quit playing with it
 
I'm hoping it will be the NMFSH once they get shipped. As of now the only INFI I've owned I'd a FFBM, so I guess that's my fav.

Tbk-big,thin, bites deep, and only 1 made : )

Cgfbm-big, bad, coolest looking busse ever, my first mistress, kicked the sickness in hyperdrive.

Muskrat-thin, very fine but tough usable tip, looks cool and not very common, makes a great necker

Skinny ash- is there a better do all? And boy does it have an awesome handle, just locks in the mit like no other

Basic 11-only one on my list I no longer own, it was my Go to chopper/user as ots weight n res-c, slender profile really make for a winner. Unfortunately tbk dethroned her.

Kin-1311, gives the tbk a run for its $ at a fraction of the cost. Pure performer
 
My top five:

1. NMSFNO (I've basically bartered off just about all my others to obtain a few). IMHO, for me, just about the perfect large field knife. 8" of convex INNFI, what's not to love.
2. TankBuster (one of the most under rated Busse's IMHO)...
3. FFBM...I think it is about the apex of what one could 'reasonably' consider still a true 'bombproof/indestructable' knife and carry as such. Your corpse would likely be found before this knife breaks.
4. FSH (HH or HOG flavor, sabre ground)...There's a reason why its on the side of every Busse knife. I never did get around to using the two I had, tho.
5. SFNO. Good, overall knife. The Sabre ground 1/300 LE models were nice. Would loved to have snagged a 'Fatty.'

What an epic list of blades and some great ideas coming out of this thread--I didn't expect it, but some of the repeat mentions for some models I've not tried have me thinking I should buy a few more. :eek:

I'm also surprised at some that haven't made the list so far--intriguing.

Picking favorite knives is like picking favorite music groups or favorite movies! You can narrow it down to an odd number, but that's about it LOL. Here are my favorite Busses and Rats :cool:
