I appreciate the encouragement brother! Completely agree. This place is an absolute wonderland! Sometimes friends and family back home ask me why I would move so far away. All I have to do is show them a picture of one of our outings and they're like, "Ohhh, enough said"
. I know in just a few months it'll be long sunny days; and I'll be back out in the mountains, alpine lakes, and waterfalls every chance I get. I wouldn't trade the experiences I've had out here in the past few years for the world
I got spoiled last year, when due to school being online I was able to take my son and spend the majority of Jan-Feb back home. My town borders the Canaveral National Seashore, so its an amazing place in it's own right. I count myself truly blessed to live in two places abounding in such natural beauty and opportunity for outdoor adventure. The hope in the future is to pull off spending winters back there and then the rest of the year out here enjoying the glorious surroundings.
Since this is a pic thread after all, I figured I'd leave these to tell the story visually a bit. With sunrises and sunsets like this I don't really have any room to complain
