Maybe some type of snakeskin background picture setting would show it off. Lots of natural color/patterns to choose from.

it's the lighting...might have to bust out some neutral graduated filters to even out the blade and handle
the hollow grind reflects light differently too, gonna try and go upsidedown
all this but I'm sooooooo lazy...
