I guess I'll start with the grind which is my main concern. It is not all the way back to the choil, its like the machine started 1/2 inch to late, other than that, the burr on the end of the tip.Did they all come ground this way?,but it flips good, very solid,no rattling, tight latch,I'll say its a very good design and mediocre crafting, should I send it back to BM to be finished?

Pictures? Maybe you should send it back to BM for refinishing. What serial number did you have?

Spark,
#067.The grind lines are even on both sides, but seem to stop short of the normal grind i've seen.I am probably going to send it to BM,I'll get a pic up soon.

after checking the pics at 1stop it seems as there's is ground the same,so maybe they're all like that.

Yes they are. BM left quite a chunk of unsharpened edge for those blades. Which they stopped making way back in the late 90's...

My two have the same grind. Got to admit, its distinctive. Maybe BM did that to make it stand out from the original 35. What ever, I like them a lot.:)
