Hello all , lets try again to get this fine knife to a new home

It has a deep hollow grind from 5/32" A-2 tool steel , heat treated to an Rc. 61 by me in my shop with the sub-zero quench . It sports a fine Scotch Bright Belt satin finish . This knife will do all your chores around the camp or anywhere else .

O.A.L is 8-3/4" ,

Blade is 4" , with a working sharpened edge at 3-3/4" . It is 1-1/2 wide edge to spine .

Handle is Contoured Black Linen Micarta for a comfortable feel, Red Liners and Nickle Silver Pins .

Sheath is right hand carry pouch style .

SPF

Priced to sell at $165.00 + $12.00 for USPS shipping in the USA .

Pay-Pal or Postal M/O preferred , checks held to clear , cash ships fast . My PP is sandlot@charter.net

I have nothing bad to say other than my lack of funds. This is actually the size and style I like to carry. I cannot tell you why there's a lack of interest if I had the money I would take it gladly and happily

I really think this is a beaut personally. Looks like it would be a real sweet slicer, and if I had some extra bucks lying around it would already be sold.

If I absolutely was forced to critique, I might mention a few things. And again, I think this is super nice looking, but i know you asked. If I was going to use this as a camp knife I might worry a little about the hollow grind since it seems most of the ones i see for camp use dont seem to be hollow. I particularly think the handle and pinning is really sharp, but it seems like there may not be a way to attach a lanyard, but cant tell definitively from the pics. The images themselves is the last thing...seems like most of the images I see on here are a bit more straightforward without a lot of background stuff. To me the background stuff takes away from the knife and sheath itself which is what I really want to see. Big beautiful pics of that blade and the nice leather with that dark stitching. Extremely nice.

Well, hope that helps somehow. I'm not the most experienced member here, if something I said didn't make sense thats prob why. Hope i didn't offend, I would love to have something like this on my belt. Good luck!

tr.slate

do not know why you would worry about the hollow grind , there are plenty out there , you just don't see them on many factory knives.

its a great looking knife, and I also really like that way you pinned that handle....I'm just pretty low on available cash at the moment........

Well, honestly I know nothing of custom knives so my comment may have been a bit off the cuff - I was just spitballing to try to help. I personally think it looks incredible.

Nice photobucket album btw, you have some amazing photos of your work on there!

Well it's am amazing piece that is gping to join my collection that I will proudly show off
