Just ordered my gift to myself, a Night-Ops Gladius. I'll be expecting a Waved Endura from the Fat Man (which oddly enough will be a very lean woman- my GF)
 
Rat & DreamHawk, thanks It was a quiet birthday with the sweetest card from my daughter. If you have followed the problems with her that I have posted over the years, you will understand what that means.

Since I'm perpetually buying myself stuff, I don't really set aside any extra cash for myself during Christmas time, and no one buys me anything knife-related during the holidays. A blessing, I know, because I've seen some gifted monstrosities show up on here. However, my brother is getting a Benchmade 707, my father is getting a Leatherman Wave, and my mother is getting a nice (read: expensive) set of bonsai tools. On my end, I'm getting myself:

Knife related: Becker BK7, along with some carbon fiber slabs and several grits of sandpaper. Going to buff off the coating and hand-sand to a satin finish. Then I'll shape some carbon fiber handles for it. Cheap project altogether for a nice custom edged tool that I can abuse the hell out of.

Non-knife related: Benelli Super Nova Tactical :)
