I have a large Liberty Fireproof SAFE with an electronic lock. (Must weigh a ton by now) as I can hardly fit another knife of any kind into it.

Also have Seven, 12" x 18" x 2 1/2" Oak display cases hanging on my office wall displaying over 50 of my favorite Bucks.

Residing OUTSIDE the safe is one S&W .45 Auto and one Mossberg 12 gauge pump for protection. The most intimidating sound a would-be intruder could ever hear is the sound of a shotgun shell being chambered.

As you might guess, I fully support the Second Amendment and the NRA.

:D

JB4570, can I ask if you made those display cases or bought them?? Those are awsome.

Hi kyhunt,

Those can be purchased from the Danbury Mint. Those displays were meant for their die cast collector cars.

Jb4570. i just checked those cases out. They aren't as bad as I though they would be. I may have to skimp on knives for a month or two but hey that is one cool display. I hat to say it but I think I'm going to be a copy cat. Except for the knives of course. Mine are not quite that classy. That is a impressive collection. Even my wife thought it was cool.

I once had this apartment on the wrong side of town in my younger days. I was experimenting with making homemade wine that was absolutely horrid (have figured it out since). I had stacked my horrid wine in nice bottles with labels in wine racks next to my TV, stereo, CD collection and other things hoping that age would mellow out the horridness (it didn't).

One day some punks broke into my apartment when I was at work. They clearly rifled through all my stuff, pulled the stereo from the wall, pulled my clothes off the hangers - but left it there on the floor. In the end they apparently decided they could only carry the 30 bottles of crap wine I made - they did take my back pack to carry it the buggers. I think it gave them both a back ache and a head ache :)

Lesson - fill up some wine bottles and put some fancy schnancy labels on them and keep them next to your knife cases. They will go for the decoy!
