By far, my favorite survival type knife of all time is the Becker bk7. Handles are oh so comfy, great steel, great grind, great size, and MADE IN USA!

I love my BK11 and my Mk1, and can't wait to get a BK14 and BK16. I don't do heavy wood processing, but I have yet to find anything I do that couldn't be done by the BK11 - awesome little knife.
