I just wanted to make it known that John of JK Knives lives up to his motto like you would not believe. I have sent him two sketches and both turned out better than I could have imagined. He was spot on with every detail I wanted, and is super easy to work with. Take a second to check out the post in his knifemakers forum. A direct link is below.

Are the lines in that pic playing with my eyes or are the tops of the scales in that baby kephart not even? looks like the right side goes up further than the left? Good looking knives BTW... I bet the work as good as they look.

They are off just a tiny bit, I know when John was making those scales he was getting really short on that Birdseye maple
 
LOL... it made my eyes cross... I couldn't tell if it was the handles or an optical thing. Looks great. Those handle slabs are beautiful... this is coming from a guy that perfers canvas micarta over just about anything.

Yeah, when John mentioned he had some extra I jumped at the chance. Beautiful wood indeed.
