Benchmade 42SS if by metal you mean Steel.

If Titanium handles count it would probably be a toss up between the 42ss and my Cutter's Brend M/A.

Hallo,
My favorite metal handled knife is made by Frank J. Richtig...

I guess he's nearly forgotten by most.

Spatha,

You thinking of a Dave Murphy knife? I have three small Murphy knives, including two SWAT knives, and they're the first things that came to mind when I saw this thread's question.

AG Russel one hand is a really great knife. Have had it for ten years and never let me down. Also have had a Spyderco (Pilot?) short blad that has also served well.

Now that I think about it, I really love my Spyderco Navigator. I have no idea why I didn't think of it before! I rotate it with my Benchmade Forum knife as my EDC.:D

There's lot's of them,
but a couple of my favorites are:
MOD trident (alumnium)
and SOG Vision (titanium) mine is the old style liner lock

my favs would be my crawford ti kasper, perfigo, and MT SOCOM elite, no doubt about it.

#1? the perfigo.

Like others, I'm not gonna make a single determination for one metal-handled knife that is my favorite. I'll go for a group.

First, although I don't own one, I like the Sebenza. I also am going to love the Spyderco ATR when it comes out (though its expected price point may put it out of my reach).

Of the knives that I own, I am now very fond of my Kershaw Vapor and Vapor II. (I just finished touching-up the factory edge that came on the Vapor II. It's ready for EDC now and will see good use.)

I also love my Spyderco Copilot (plain edge). I wish I had a second one. (I love having backups for my favorites, to take the worry away from losing or ruining one.)

My favorite metal handled knife is the Sebenza, no question about it. However, I also love my aluminum handled Benchmade axis lock knives: 710, 720, 940, 941.
